Drove from Port Douglas to Cairns- curvy road - don't converse and don't use your phone. Concentrate. Stick to all speed advisory signs. Got to Cairns. Got lost. Get "Your Welcome Map of Tropical Cairns". It's an excellent street map. Come from Cpt Cook Hwy....More

Unfortunately we visited in a very dry period. Despite that the walk along the creek was very pleasant and well shaded. At the end you walk up a hill and look over the swamp. Should be lots of bird life when there is more water...More

This is not a flashy place, but it is a nice place for a walk and a great view. You take a windy walk through the forest with the river/creek to the left and at the end you need to walk up the grassy knoll....More
