Bicentennial Park is a large area of parkland located in the Darwin city centre. It overlooks the Darwin Harbour and runs the length of Darwin's waterfront. It has the Darwin Cenotaph War Memorial ion the park.

This is a lovely park alongside the waterfront, we didn't manage to see all the attractions that the park has to offer, the afternoon heat and humidity too much for aged bodies. It certainly is lush with vegetation and meticulously maintained. Great paths used by both pedestrians and cyclists, lovely spots to enjoy a picnic as a number of families seemed to be doing, children's play areas, various monuments and the Cenotaph. For those of us unused to the Darwin summer climate, best to visit in the cooler months.

Beautiful spot in Darwin to go for a walk with scenic views especially at sunset. Public toilets available. Wifi available at some of the benches. Lots of shady trees. Plenty of pretty photo opportunities. Not far to walk over to the waterfront for fine dining and/or swimming. Multiple informative historical signs if interested in reading about Darwin’s history.

The park is a pleasant strip of greenery along the coast in central Darwin. There are historical markers, children's playground, walking/jogging trails, picnic tables, and beautiful views of the bay. It's very hot at mid-day, but otherwise very nice. I would have appreciated more trees and shade.

We enjoyed visiting the park, which was across the road from our hotel. We also enjoyed visiting Darwin parkrun which conducted in this park every Saturday morning at 7am. The locals were very welcoming and it was a fun experience. The gardens are well maintained and it is a pleasure to visit.

These lovely and extensive gardens stretch along the Esplanade. They are well kept and with a well graded walking track, scattered monuments including the cenotaph, plenty of seating, a fabulous children's playground and delightful views across the water. Ideal for a pleasant stroll on a balmy evening!

A long park on the side of the ocean, opposite the Harbour. It lies between the Parliament House and the Doctor's Gully next to the Esplanade and has a beautiful view and fresh sea breeze. A great place to enjoy the sunset, have a refreshing walk, relax on one of the benches under the big trees, or exercise on the Play Space. Since our accommodation was opposite it, I often enjoyed this park with the beautiful ocean view. When I walked down to the ocean shore, I always passed the Cenotaph, commemorating people who lost their lives in the First World War. It also has plaques as a remembrance of World War Two, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, and Vietnam. It reminds me of The Royal Australian Regiment Memorial at Wynyard, another few of the few South-East Asian war memorials. Don’t forget to look up for it, if you’re visiting Darwin.

A length of grass, separating the city from the cliffs and sea beyond. Has a few monuments and a Cenotaph. There are few scattered park benches and a few flowers and shrubs.

A walk along the cool lawns in the shade of the trees to view the bay is a contrast to the heat of the city streets. We'll manicured with the war memorial a point of interest.

Walked around and took advanatage of many great photo opportunities. The number of birds in the park is pretty amazing, and at night the flying foxes come out. Simply amazing.
