Travelled with 2 friends from Tasmania for this. We are Territorians for 26 years but hadn't done this and wanted to give our southern friends a taste of the Territory in a short space of time. They rated it best thing ever and we thought it fantastic too. Definitely recommend, was a great day out.

The whole tour was excitement plus, from the safety explanations, then the seaplane flight and landing in the lagoon. The airboat ride and crocodile spotting, amazing! Talk about power packed, an incredible helicopter ride, looking for wild animals and checking out the area. Then an amazing and delicious Barramundi lunch was provided. A truly memorable day, a must do tour and should be on your bucket list for when your in the NT Outback.

The Half-day Ultimate Tour was the absolute highlight of our first trip to Darwin. We were first greeted by a nice lady (sorry forgot name!) who took us through the safety briefing before we headed out to our float plane. We then met with Dave (our experienced Pilot) who then flew us to Sweets Lagoon (even got to ride in the co-pilot seat!!). After landing we boarded the cruising vessel and met with the rest of the crew. Dave and Dallas (an absolute hilarious guy with many stories to tell) cooked up an awesome breakfast spread before we split into groups and embarked on our activities. First activity was the the supercharged airboat led by an easy-going but very knowledgeable fella (sorry forgot name! Nice beard though!) that took us through the wetlands and showed us the spectacular views the lagoon had to offer. Unfortunately we came during end of the dry season and so couldn't spot many crocs, however the views and the thrill will still be memorable. The second and final activity (before doing some interim barramundi fishing) was the helicopter ride with our friendly pilot, Morgan. Flying over the surrounding farms and floodplain and just taking in the breathtaking views was the perfect way to end day. Floatplane, cruising through the wetlands, airboat and helicopter, there's not much else to ask for an adventure-packed day.l! Memories were made and I have to thank the hospitable team at Outback Floatplane Adventures present that day that made it such an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!

This is an absolute must do! My family & I loved every single minute. All of the staff we came in contact with Dallas, Dave, Carla, Jack & Jacko you guys rock! I wouldn’t normally remember everyone’s name but that just shows how amazing, knowledgeable & passionate these guys are. True blue Aussie’s that love their country & happy to show some of Darwin’s outback beauty with you. If you want to experience something with your children that I don’t think you will find anywhere else please don’t hesitate, just book. Hotel pick-up, sea plane, boat cruise, float boat & a helicopter ride you will never forget! Our kids 8 & 10 still talk about it with a huge smile across there face!

Best tour ever!! Amazing scenery and a half day tour which was absolutely worth the cost. All the staff were amazing. From Shazza who drove the bus, Dave the floatplane pilot, Dallas the riverboat captain (and cooked a mean breakfast!!), Jack who drove the airboat and Jock the helicopter pilot, everyone was so friendly, skilled at their jobs and very knowledgeable. Reflections at Sweets Lagoon were stunning and the crocodiles and bird life were awesome. Check out the photos. Would highly recommend this trip!!
