Thanks for visiting our church while on the Darwin Heritage Walk. There are several items inside the Cathedral that are also part of its heritage: such as century-old plaques from World War One and other items that survived both World War Two and the cyclone....More

The blending of the pre-cyclone remains and the replacement cathedral is intriguing. God is not dead, neither is this church.

I loved the glass walls, which integrated the outside garden into this light filled building; the altar made of the one piece of timber; the candle stand - a whirl of glass, the spirit of peace and this being a true House of God. One...More

The architect has adapted the ruins into the new church. Inside the church is just like sitting in a garden - two walls are windows that bring the outside in.

The real church behind the facade is a modern structure cleaning must be a big job. Its looks from afar are deceptive still its a nice stop.

Unusual design but well worth a visit, located right in the centre of town, a stone's throw from the mall.

Thank you for visiting the Cathedral. The design is unusual - a lozenge shape sitting among the gardens. Enjoy your visit to Darwin and thank you for being with us!
