About
One of the Waterfront's coolest attractions is the Wave Lagoon: a palm-fringed swimming pool that turns into a tube-riding, boogie-boarding bucket of fun when the waves roll in every 20 minutes. The fully patrolled Wave Lagoon is two metres at its deepest point and slopes to a shallow area of still water, perfect for families. Bring your book: there are plenty of banana lounges, beach umbrellas and shady patches of lawn. Aqua Zumba classes every Sunday from 9am are a HUGE hit with tourists and locals alike.

This was lots of fun - can pick your own adventure as to what depth you go to, and how you want to approach the waves. Do remember to keep re-applying sunscreen (we were all having such a good time that we didn't and all ended up slightly pink)

There are few places you can swim in Darwin, this is one of them. Worth a visit, but it is expensive.

We had lots of fun in the wave pool. Entry was $8 for the full day. Not too crowded. Would highly recommend it if you are visiting Darwin.

Visited here for an afternoon and had a great time, you could easily spend all day here, get in early for a good spot and with your wrist band you can come and go as much as you like to get food etc from nearby.
The waves seem to come on every half an hour for about five minutes which to begin with was a little disappointing but you soon remember how much energy waves take out of you, especially while keeping an eye on kids so it’s nice to enjoy the calm pool then get excited when the waves start again! there is also a nice shallow toddler play area.

No waves. Maybe maintenance. If this is important to your visit then make enquiries at Tourist Info first.

We went as a couple and had the best day. It has something for all ages. I particularly thought it had fantastic facilities for toddlers (obviously supervised). Plenty of lifesavers on duty. Great places to have lunch. Fantastic set up.

Right near the waterfront restaurants, a great place to have a safe dip to cool off, plus enjoy the regular waves. Great spot!

We had a visit to the Darwin wave park, our little one had a great time, he loved the waves, the water was at good temperature, there was lots of boards and rubber rings to use, or you could buy one from the kiosk. Great place to spend a few hrs.
