Beautiful Sunset

An incredible sunset, plenty of people but great views. On Thursday & Sunday's enjoy the market & then head down to beach for sunset.

A visit to Mindil Beach and its market on a Thursday evening has to be one of the high points of a trip to Darwin. Heaps of great food vans, most SE Asian and fresh juices makes for a great dinner on the beach for sunset. The food is good and the prices likewise.

What a great place to go on a Thursday & Sunday nights. Plenty of entertainment, food stalls and a sunset to beat. Great social place to meet and eat or as a solo to chill and watch the sun go down.

From quite some distance you can smell the many different delicious foods being cooked. The market was a real eye opener to us with so many different kinds of food from so many different countries on offer. Highly recommend !! Then at sunset most people go to the adjacent beach with their purchased meal and you sit there with hundreds... More

We visited the market (sunday) that is 3min walk from the beach/sea sand. At first when you walk on the beach, it looks just like any other beach---large open area of sand from the markets/city side to the water and also a long beach where you can have a nice stroll. BUT, as soon as the sun sets, you know... More

My wife and I visited Darwin in May this year. We have been to Darwin before and seen the sunset and that time we found it hard to find a seat and have something to keep our drinks cold. I looked through the site of the people who organise the markets and found I could hire a table and chairs,... More

Worth a visit for the sunset alone, but then you also get craft stalls, entertainment and a huge choice of delicious food too!
