Beautiful at sunset

Had heard this was a great spot to watch the sunset and it didn't disappoint even though there was a fair bit of cloud around.

In Dry season there are some markets 3 times a week from April to October. The food there is average for the price and the sunset you can see from better less crowded places than the beach. Of course you can bring your own food and drinks. There are some souvenir stalls as well.

A must to visit - take food and drinks to sit on the beach; or go on a Sunday or Thursday and grab awesome food from the markets (during dry season only).

When the markets are on, it is one of the things to do in Darwin. Bring down a blanket or some chairs grab some food from some of the stalls and sit down on the beach to watch the famous Darwin sunset. There is a good range of food stalls there from Around April to Mid October. They usually have... More

We had a paella in the lawn while watching the sunset. It was a lovely experience and all the proceed in this occasion went charity.

It's very pretty and right beside the botanic gardens too. There is a nice walk along the coast and this is a definite should see/do while in Darwin. We weren't there for night markets unfortunately but it was still great.
