Magical sunset, food and entertainment

Worth a visit for the sunset alone, but then you also get craft stalls, entertainment and a huge choice of delicious food too!

Great relaxing evening "mindling" in the market, few beers, take away and that sunset WOW! Could not understand why there were people swimming though (croc bait?)

Busy place and mainly very crowded, but if you get there early it's just nice to grab something nice to eat, sit on the sand at the beach and enjoy the sunset. It's always different. Very magical

Very tourist driven but we still pop in for a feed on Sunday afternoon after a day out driving around NT. Market stalls are very good and a lot of knick knacks to remember your travels to Darwin.

This is definitely more of a food fest rather than a place to buy produce or earthy products. People are difficult to get past, it's sort of like getting in a conga line and going with the crowd. Overall disappointing went 3 Times found nothing different to anywhere else, just more expensive... Loads of food, great local entertainment, lucky the... More

We caught the bus out. Bustransport very cheap. $1 for 3 hours travel for Seniors. The Mindil market has good choices of food. We ate Oysters and prawns sitting on the beach.

This beach is beautiful to watch the sunset. There are the most wonderful market stalls in Mindil Beach Market. Everything from international foods, hand made clothing, fresh water pearls and aboriginal art, including watching artists at work. Cannot recommend any higher, only a small market without the continual 'same' stalls in every alley. A+

The sunsets here are always great. A lot of work has been done to clean up the area too with good lighting for evening walks. Loses one point because the council is not doing enough to get rid of the large gypsy presence in the car park. Large groups of hippies stinking of marijuana and in desperate need of a... More
