Best part of the tour was the hill climb and guided tour of the Aboriginal occupation of the area. It brought home just what 60,000 years occupation means and where "temporary use" can be 1000 years! The associated visit to the Arts Centre revealed some of the best work I have seen. The overall tour was very moving.

One of the best tours we have done worldwide! Lochie was a fabulous guide and he complemented the Aboriginal guide on the rock tour - Willie. Both very knowledgeable. We went from Darwin and the trip out & back was fabulous (3 hours of scenery with a great breaky stop at the Barkhut (best coffee in NT!) The tour was... More

Picked up at our Jabiru resort for a full day tour. Bring a large water, hat and sun Screen! Really enjoyed Sharon, our guide. She provided an abundance of information about Arnhemland, the aboriginal people, and rock art sights. We really enjoyed this tour!

So much for the tour info. You need to be really fit for this 3 hr rock climb. Also the brochure didn't mention rock art ( which was good, but too much). Best part of tour was lunch. Not good value for money.

Nicely guided tour through arnhemland. Guided by a native we were shown a lot of rock art paintings and other cultural sights. Seeing them making the art is impressive to see. Recommended!

The whole day was great. I would recommend this trip to anyone who has any interest in Aboriginal art and history. Make sure you where walking boots as there is a lot of scrambling over rocks. We had some older ladies in sandles with us and they found it very difficult but if you are reasonably fit and have sturdy... More

One of the best experience I have done. Never been to Darwin before and got to experience Darwin and also the Outback. Me, My Boyfriend and his Family went on this tour and climb a rock to see the aboriginal art work, it was unreal view and amazing artwork. The tour guide was very experienced for only doing the touring... More

The day was not what I expected as I had hoped to interact with the people of Arnhem Land more than we did but in saying that, the Aboriginal guide was wonderful and so willing to share her knowledge and culture with the group on every aspect of her life. The landscape was of course beautiful and the art work... More

We did a 3 day trip to Lichfield and Kakadu and finished with this one day trip to Arnhemland. Our leader Petra was fantastic. She gave us a great commentary as we travelled along and nothing was too much trouble. The trip into Arnhemland was special - the people, the artwork, the scenery and the climb to see some amazing...
