You can tell by the other reviewers that this is one awesome tour. Was 270 expensive? It was worth every penny, well we travelled 5 hours by truck/bus, we had two guides, the first in the bus and the second an indigenous guide, we had a simple but filling lunch, we saw some of the oldest rock art in the... &270 was expensive, but we had an indigenous guide take us on a tour of a sacred location for about 3 hours, so I learnt way more than I anticipated. She was really candid and really honest, some of the things I found out about her life and the lives of her family members was pretty confronting. It was a... More

Our day trip to Arnhemland was enjoyable in every way. All staff, including the lovely New Zealand lady who did the booking, Petra our tour leader and Roland our indigenous guide, were just great. Helpful, friendly and efficient and keen to see we had a good day. The Injalak Arts Centre was very interesting and the quality and variety of... More

Informative and interesting tour guide. Stopped at interesting locations on way to Arnhemland. Aboriginal tour guide, rock paintings and basket weaving were also very enjoyable. The landscape on tour was quite spectacular. Be prepared for some tight spots when climbing. However view from top was magnificent. Recommend good enclosed walking shoes/boots. Well organised and a very personal manner of information given by our tour ranger guide Joe. A great day. Out visit to the Aborigine arts centre was also of very good value. This is a trip that should not really be missed especially if you are a kiwi. Incredibly mind opening as to the relationship of the Aborigines to their... More

The trip encompassed all we have heard of the indigenous culture but never seen. Our guide was young and quite new at the job so we recieved many wonderous stories with breath taking reality. To see the country in all its unspoilt magnificent s , awesome.

A fabulous trip to Arnhemland with a skilled and knowledgeable guide, Petra. Absolutely stunning scenery and a great opportunity to see the works of the Injalak artists. Gabriella beautifully and generously shared her knowledge of the rock paintings and local culture with us. Highly recommended. A wonderful day.

Seeing the stunning ancient rock art in Arnhem Land was a highlight of my visit to the Northern Territory. The way the tour was organised with our local indigenous guide was very important to see the living tradition. Walking through the rocks and hearing the explanations of our guide was like visiting a cathedral, inspiring a sense of awe and... More

The trip was fantastic. To get the chance to have an enthusiastic guide (Lochie) to start the trip was incredible. He is a genuine chap that lives and breathe the indigenous culture. The experience got even more insightfull when we had the pleasure of visiting the Injalak centre and then an indigenous guide Christine.....she was amazing, her stories of her... More

We joined the tour from Jabiru, which was good as others who traveled from Darwin had a much longer journey (three hours each way). The tour consisted of getting to the Arnhemland with our ranger guide, which in itself was a fun ride with excellent commentaries all along the way. We were then handed over to Gabrielle to go on...
