Having walked around Uluru we were lucky enough to see it from above in a small plane. Ben, our pilot/chauffeur, was brilliant - very friendly and informative. He gave us some inside info on life in Uluru and the history. To see it from above was just awesome. It was great to be able to do it altogether as a... More

We flew from Yulara to Uluru , then on to Kata Tjuta , finally over to Lake Amadeus . Our pilot - Chrissy - is a knowledgable guide , great pilot and had great commentary and answered all our questions . Views were excellent , and she kept the plane steady while I was taking photo's . After seeing Uluru... More

We flew in a six seat plane around Uluru and Kata Tjuta and enjoyed the experience immensely. Our pilot pointed out the secret men's site and the secret women's site at the rock and was very informative throughout the whole flight. Each person is seated next to a window which gives one a great view from the air. I have... More

What a way to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Sun rising and full moon setting over as we fly with our hospitable pilot Reiss. The view was stunning and Reiss provided information about the local customs as well as a little humour. The flight was smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend taking this once in a life time experience.

Seeing Uluru from up high was a highlight of our trip. It was a lot of fun sitting up front in the Cessna too! Chrissy was a fantastic pilot and tour guide. She went out of her way to make my wife feel comfortable (my wife has a fear of light aircraft!).

I went on the combined aerial tour of (fixed wing) Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Lake Amadeus and then helicopter flight over Kings Canyon. Reiss took us on the plane and we had amazing views of the attractions. Advantage of fixed wing is that one is higher up and smoother.... Copter flight was also amazing... All in all very much recommended!

We wanted to get some perspective over the Uluru area and beyond, so looked at the various scenic flight options. In the end we decided on the Ayres Rock Scenic Flight option, as it was a plane, rather than a helicopter, which was better value and covered far more area. We did an hour flight, which included Ayers Rock, Kata... More
