It is ok to buy local touristy souvenirs; however, I was disappointed to realize that the grocery store does not sell wine; a big miss in a place where you want to drink a glass while you enjoy the view from your room.

I only managed to visit the IGA in Uluru, in the town square once. I bought bottles of water and bread rolls. The cheese rolls were baked next door, at The Sails in the Desert resort. I ate the rolls for breakfast and lunch. There...More

The shopping centre offers a range of casual dining and souvenir shops. The options are well priced considering the remoteness of Uluru. There is also a supermarket which provides a good range of basic food choices. If you are looking to stock up on your...More

The shopping area offers both hand made and manufactured goods. We found interesting local souvenirs mixed with plastic goods made elsewhere. A little care on the selection would be highly appreciated by consumers visiting this culturally rich area.

It's useful. It's the only game in town anyway. Supermarket, post office, souvenir shops, cafe and restaurants.

I was surprised by the number of shops and the variety of items available. Food and water is expensive due to the distance that it has to travel.

I found it had a fair amount of choice. The iga shop offers quite a number of items that any one could need whilst on holiday i found the 5 litre bottle of water fantastic value at the time i bought it.

I certainly didn't expect a large shopping complex at Ayers Rock. The Town Square had everything you need during your stay. It had a nice layout and definitely had a small community feel to it.
