We opted for the A A T Kings Kata Tjuta sunset tour which is a two and a half hour trip including transport on a large coach (with driver commentary) to a viewing point at Kata Tjuta where we had drinks and nibbles whilst watching the sunset. The driver/guide was friendly, helpful and knew his stuff - on the drive... More

The first challenge was to get up at 5am to be picked up at 5.30 for the beginning of the trip! Viewing Uluru at sunrise before a tour walking all the way around the Rock. The other challenge was the 12 km walk!! But the trip was fantastic. The bus driver Carl, and tour guide Thomas were wonderful. Bright young... More

Went on 3 tours. The guides were knowledgable about the parks sights. Walking the base of Uluru was a fascinating and humbling experience. I learned a great deal. The guide has to pass an exam before being allowed to guide and this was a benefit to our tour. She knew history, custom, geology and stories. Excellent experience.

AAT Kings seem to run the majority of tours around Ayres Rock National Park. They do a good job. Guides & drivers are knowledgeable and attempt to keep customers entertained on their bus trips. They were generous with drinks on the Ularu Sunset tour. The Uluru Sunset tour is a must do trip!

Chose 2 tours. The Uluru visit followed by sunset over the rock. Great day escorted by Adam and Morgan. Lots of interesting facts given to us in a friendly and fun manner. The second was sunrise over Uluru followed by a trip to KataTjuta. Walked into Walpa Gorge. Marvellous scenery. All again escorted with fun and laughter thanks to John... More

The trips to Uluru and Kata Tjuta were one of the highlights of our Australia trip. ATT made it easy and interesting to to fully enjoy these magnificent sights. Dave, our driver and guide, provided a wonderful narrative of the region. Carl, one of our guides, helped instill appreciation and respect for the indigenous people of the area. (He also... More

Even though we had an early pick up - 5.45 am - we thoroughly enjoyed the AAT Kings Sunrise Field of Light tour, which was run by Neeru and Beau. It was amazing to see the lights from the lookout. We then made our way down to the hill and walked through the light display. It was a great experience.... More

The day started very early but AAT were on time and very efficient. Our crew of David (driver/guide) and Thomas (guide) were the BEST. Dave drove us through the pre-dawn hours as we headed east towards Kings Canyon and after a quick braking manoeuvre to avoid a couple of very large 'roos everyone on the bus was awake to view... What tour would u think worthy after a pick up 5.30am & almost 3hr drive to Kings Canyon from Ayers Rock Resort ?? !! Nearing arrival, for first time bus driver John emphasizes how dangerous the marketed Rim Walk REALLY is. Uneven really steep steps, danger blown off unfenced edge etc Reluctantly I opted for the inferred as more suitable... More
