We did the sunset trek, camels were well behaved, easy mount and dismount. Guides informative. Beautiful views(distant) to both rock attractions. About a 3km trek up to the edge of the NPark. Camels not allowed in the Nat Park. Weather was superb but needed a light jacket when sun went down. Drinks and beer bread/ dukkah lovely at the end. Used fly nets but flies not too bad currently. Would recommend.

I booked this tour a while ago hoping it would be a highlight for my 15 year old son. I myself had reservations. I’m scared of large animals and can’t ride horses as a result. My fears were calmed immediately upon seeing the camels all sitting in rows patiently waiting for our guides to allocate us to a camel. They are so calm and beautiful, honestly the spitting camel image is not true! We climbed onboard Rusty our camel, funny as my sons name is Rusti! What’s the chances?! And our guide who walked beside us for the tour was so entertaining. Lots of interesting Australian camel history, fun facts and jokes. Incredibly personable. The tour was so amazing, loved the ride and people we met. Then off to have damper - yum! And coffee!!! Lost my son in the farm out the back (should have known all along that’s where he was). I’m an independent traveler, not a huge tour fan, done plenty of day tours overseas whilst travelling independently and this is honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever done. So well organised and the people are incredibly friendly but the real stars are those camels. Do it! You won’t regret it. We did sunrise FYI.

This experience was amazing. This is a very well run tour with great staff and atmosphere. Make sure you stay for a drink at the bar after your ride or come back out using the free resort shuttle bus. Drinks are about $3 cheaper than the resort. Would do this tour again. Great to see locals running these types of experiences.
