A stunning place to visit and well worth the walk as one winds around the mountains and vegetation - the sun plays a pivotal role in adding to the beauty of Nature's realm.

Drove out to Chambers Pillar from Alice Springs on a 4WD vehicle, about 140km south of Alice, a cracking drive through stunning Outback scenery. From Maryvale, you definitely need a 4WD but it's great fun driving and good experience for a novice 4WD driver (like...More

This was the highlight of our 12 day trip from Cunnamulla Qld to Alice Springs travelling across the Simpson Desert. We camped here one night. Thought it was a magical place. Much preferred it to Ayres Rock.
