"Brolga" is an amazing man who has set up a kangaroo sanctuary for both injured and orphaned kangaroos in the outback. We got to meet Brolga and his tribe of kangaroos up close and learn about the dangers facing kangaroos as well as tips on how to care for injured kangaroos and joeys. Plus, we got to hold little joeys... More

Always watched the series of Kangaroo Dundee when it was on BBC TV. Great to meet Brolga and all the Kangaroos moving freely around his sanctuary. Even allowed to hold a baby joey wrapped up in its pillow case and bag. Good early evening excursion if you love animals.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. My kids loved it. Brolga clearly does what he loves and has become successful at it. Good for him! Keep up the good work!

The trip to the Kangaroo Sanctuary was one of the highlights of our visit to central Australia. Having the chance to nurse an orphaned joey was amazing and to interact so closely with the other roos was just wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Alice Springs.

If you are staying in Alice Springs and love animals, then a trip to Brolga's sanctuary is a must. The trips run from Alice Springs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and we re-arranged our trip to Alice/Ayers Rock so that we would have time to fit this trip in. The coach leaves Alice at about 4 pm and places are... More

I absolutely loved my visit to the Sanctuary. Brolga is very friendly and knowledgeable! Animals come first in this place and the atmosphere is amazing. You get to hold a baby kangaroo which is also super-sweet.

Great work by Brolga and well explained. However we thought it was a little long - we spent the last 20 minutes of the tour in the dark and couldn't see a thing! Great concept just needs tweaking :)

This is not a regular, commercial tour. This is an invitation into the life of a man who is deeply passionate about his cause. The tour is kept to a small size and the approach of the kangaroos is close and personal. Getting the chance to carry a baby kangaroo in the arms is priceless. Listening to Brolga and learning... The Sanctuary puts Alice Springs back on the map for me. I always liked A Town Like Alice by Nevil Shute, and the old time mini series. Chris Barnes, Brogla, is the real deal. Committed, articulate and humble. May he remain so, with the onslaught of international recognition. I loved this tour, and I have taken many tours. The much... More

If you go to Australia, you want to see kangaroos. See them in the outback with the sunset in the back, it's something you won't forget. Brolga will show everything you need to know about them. And you won't see them like you would in a zoo. This is a kind a reserve, kangaroos are free to move and will... More
