Loved the Desert Park workshops, talks and light show. Free bus service out to the Desert Park was well organised and on time.
Was disappointed that the Todd Mall was deserted and not light up at night.

Parrtjima 2021 ❤️
Apr 2021 • Family
This is not our first Parrtjima and the reason for that is that it is not to be missed. If you don’t make it this year, plan for the next one. We happily drive the 450km to experience this FREE event. The children loves it and it is mesmerising under the Alice Springs night sky. The Camels stole the show for me this year but all of it is amazing. The moving art on the sand gets especially the young ones. Buy yummy food too from local food stalls as well. Thank you for a great event.

Unlike anything else I have ever experienced

We went as a family last year and it blew us away! An engaging cultural experience for the kids! Really enjoyed learning about the artists and meaning behind each installation.

Beautiful Festival of Light!
Apr 2019
We've been visiting Parrtjima for the last three of years now and it keeps inspiring us to go back, it's such a beautiful light festival with a strong indigenous culture and focus.
Even better, it's all free and there's even free shuttle buses from the town centre. Especially loved the light show projected on the MacDonnell ranges, it was very majestic and touching. Highly recommended!

Amazing Cultural Festival!
Sep 2018
On our visit into Alice Springs last year we discovered Paartjima Festival. It really made our trip by adding an authentic, cultural experience. Highly recommend and I will be making another trip there again this year.
