Our group of six friends had to wait to be told weather we would get to ride camels (limited numbers), we were so excited when told we were in!!! We were not disappointed. What a way to finish our Ghan trip than to ride a camel in Alice Springs. Gentle soft creatures lazily walked us through the outback. 5 km... More

Pros: It was an hour long camel ride on a comfortable, well trained camel. The camels looked well cared for and the camel equipment looked in good condition. The view was really gorgeous. The tour guide was helpful to take some nice photos for us. Cons: The tour guide made me (a woman) feel uncomfortable, gave me a creepy vibe.... More

What an excellent way to end a beautiful day!! The camels were adorable, placid and fun to ride. My family of 6 did a sunset tour taking in the stunning views of the McDonald ranges with the sun setting in the distance. Steve our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Recommended this tour for families and all ages. Very happy... More

My mum and I had some spare time so we decided to go on a camel treck. It was an amazing experience travelling through the dessert on camel back. It was a great chance to see what we couldn't have seen on foot and topped off by the lovely and knowledgeable guides.

What a fantastic experience!! The hospitality we experienced was exceptional - we were collected at our hotel right on time, and dropped off afterwards, our guide Steve was knowledgeable and helpful, the facility was extremely well presented, the camels were calm and quiet (except when they had to relieve themselves), instructions we received re riding the camels were clear, and... We did the sunset trip and had a great time. Picked up by Steve at our hotel and then we were off for a leisurely camel ride while watching the sunset. Great hosts and camels.

My wife and I did the sunset tour and loved every minute of it. This is a tour I would recommend to anyone. The camel we rode, Sarli I think his name was, was very gentle and surprisingly comfortable. The scenery was spectacular. A must do!

We did the camel tour of the Ghan. We were met at the train station in Alice by Steve who took us in a mini bus to the Pyndan camels. 6 of us did the tour, 2 per camel. The animals are lovely, very relaxed and settled. We did a loop of the property for about an hour with Steve... More

Well worth the trip and camel ride. View is stunning and we were lucky to enough to see about 8 kangaroos who were not scared and sat and watched us. This trip was organised on the Ghan.

We went on the sunset tour and I highly recommend. Marcus and Steve were fantastic hosts. The scenery was stunning. I will certainly book in again next time I visit Alice Springs. Marcus and staff take great care of their camels. One was quite unwell and Marcus was very worried about her. I hope she pulled through and is feeling... More

Thanks for taking the time for your kind review. It is distressing when our camels are unwell. Generally they are pretty robust. But like every creature, they are in the cycle of life. Hope to meet you again soon. More
