Sydney Rocks tour

We all really enjoyed the tour
We had the exceptional Tania as our guide
Tania was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and added greatly to our day
Loved learning so much about the Rocks history
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a fun, educational afternoon in the Rocks

The best Blue Mountains tour!

Incredible experience with Chris on the Roos, Blues & Views tour! Absolute best experience visiting the Sydney Zoo - before all the crowd - to get an up close view of koalas and kangaroos. Exquisite lunch (included) in a very cute local restaurant close to the Blue mountains. Very fun experience at Scenic World (also included) and wonderful views of the Blue mountains...

Everything was perfect! - small group, knowledgeable guide, confortable ride! The best tour I have been on in a long time!!!

We Hit the Jackpot!

We hit the jackpot with Robin Oliver as our guide! She wowed us with her in-depth historical knowledge not only of her country, but that of many other countries around the world. She is articulate, fun-loving and quite brilliant in delivery and detail. HIGHLY recommend booking with tour with Robin!

Great history and great guide

Our guide, “Pinney,” was the most knowledgeable and engaging of any of the multiple tour guides I interacted with during my week in Sydney. He’s also honest about the “history” of the area, and gives detail many layers below the surface. I would book the tour again just to drink a few pints with him!

Learn history & drink great beer!

If you want to learn, drink great beer and meet interesting people then this is the tour for you. We had Colin as our tour guide which included folks from 3 different nationalities living in 4 countries.
Colin is a great ambassador for Australian history and especially for the area of The Rocks and the beer itself.
I had done this same tour in 2022 and with the different guides you are always learning something new. So if you want to learn a bit (doesn’t matter if you are local or tourist) then this tour is a great place to start.

Fantastic Experience

Dave was a great guide!
We absolutely loved the knowledge he imparted about the history and origins of the area, Australian history, and the quirkiness and origins of the Aussie lingo - all in such a colourful and fun way.
We stopped at 4 of the oldest pubs … and a drink was served at each; such a generous host.
Locals and visitors alike - do yourselves a favour and go along on this amazing journey of discover.
Thank you Dave - ‘twas awesome.

Fun and interesting

It was a fun tour of the breweries in The Rocks. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local history and beers. It was a very entertaining afternoon. They usually run the tours with three or more people but it was just my husband and me and they ran the tour anyways. Tasty brews. Highly recommend taking this tour.

Best pub tour!!

We had THE BEST TIME!! Jackson (alias, Dave) was a superb guide - incredibly knowledgeable, easy to understand, fun to be with, and basically everything you might want in a tour guide.
We met the group exactly as described, and after introductions and some cool history we started our pub crawl. Each pub had incredible character, fascinating history, and delicious beers! What more could you be want?
The walk was not difficult, and Jackson paced us so no one was overly taxed. There are inclines and stairs, but if you’re comfortably mobile you should be ok.
Overall - it’s a fun, delicious, interesting way to learn Sydney’s crazy history. Well worth your time and money.

Our tour guide was Robyn and from the get go she was very friendly. We were a small group of 3, but Robyn was engaging and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Sydney/Australia and further afield and how this impacted the local area. Robyn was also really knowledgeable about which beers to try in each of the pubs we visited. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Beer & Wine Tour Hunter Valley

We did a beer and wine tour in the Hunter Valley. We were picked up at our hotel door in Sydney and returned that night. Matt was our tour guide. We had an awesome trip up (think his ears would still be bleeding from our terrible singing). Matt was a wealth ok knowledge, we were able to have a great laugh and joke with him but he still remained professional. This is the 2nd tour I have done with Dave’s I’m the Hunter and would highly recommend them.
