When you transit from North America for the good part of 24 hours, you can and should expect some kind of delay along the many airlines and airport on the way. The many shuttle services in places like Sidney, Australia should also understand that. We arrived ( we are a group of 23 people) maybe an hour late and this shuttle company was not waiting for us, knowing we are coming in after a series of long flights. I call the company and the person on the phone very rudely tells me we will have to pay a $10.Ad per person to have our "prepaid" service provided to us. I try to explain that the delay is beyond our control, we are a very tired group of elderly people etc.. he remains very rude even impolite. We have to go on so we pay the additionnal $200-some dollars and go on. The way I was treated on the phone as the group leader was unacceptable. Tourists coming in your country to visit and spend a lot of money to your local businesses need to be treated better.

Go Sydney Shuttle is the only shared transport provider that monitors the flights that we have our customers on. If the flight is delayed, we know about it and you will be picked up accordingly. There are NO surcharges for delayed flights. This group of people arrived 3 days later than scheduled on completely different flights throughout the day. Some arrived in the morning, some in the afternoon, some arrived at the international terminal and some arrived at the domestic terminal from Melbourne because they changed their flights. That would have been absolutely no problem if you inform us at least 12 hours in advance. We are sorry that we were not able read your mind You can write reviews, but was not able to inform us about your itinerary changes or reply to our sms, phone calls and emails three days earlier when we were looking for you at the airport.

Our driver Alex had to wait for us as we were last off the plane with a wheelchair. His service was impeccable with my elderly father so much so I immediately booked him to bring us back to the airport a few days later. The return trip did not disappoint , excellent driving , polite and clean
. The car was spotless , modern and fitted our 5 cases with ease . Thank you Alex

Very very poor. We arrived to find thst go sydney shuttle had left within the 1hr and a half they stated. They didnt even contact us. When i contacted them to say the didnt care would be an understatememt. They offered us a 3 hr wait to get picked up and said we cant wait for everyone, even though we stated our arrival time in our booking. Especiall after a 14 hr flight. They then offered us a refund when i said yes they then said take it up with your booking company. Get an uber fair more relable and nice people to deal with dont book go sydney

Sent a driver to pick us up at the airport who was arrogant and couldn't speak a word of English in a non-marked van who parked a gazillion miles away from the shuttle pick up area at the airport in a back street parking area no one would have found and who then berated us for not "being in the "right spot" ". Also received a nasty email from the company having a go that the driver couldn't find us even though we were waiting at the shuttle bus pick up and had the cheek to threaten us that the driver would leave without us in 5 minutes. Driver drove like a complete incompetent maniac (overtaking on double lines, changing lanes without indicating, running red lights, speeding), so much so that we were holding onto the edge of our seats, just waiting for an accident to happen. Our experience was so bad that on our return to Sydney we took a taxi to the airport rather than experience that again, even though we had prepaid! Never, ever again will we book with Go Sydney Shuttle ... very unprofessional.

Dear Eva Brown, Thank you for your review. And I must say that there are just some people that you remember for a long time and you are the one of them. I was also the contact person of all your communication with us. First of all, let me just recall how its all started with you. 1. Just went through your 16 emails which you sent to us prior to your travel starting from the 22nd of December last year up until 19th of January 2016 requesting your new pickup times changed due to your flights being changed multiple times. Which is ok, I guess. But having forwarding empty emails with no explanation but only the flight number doesn't do much not that it helps our operational team to change the correct booking to a new flight. But we still managed to get it right and we did. 2. Instructions on the ticket clearly outlines where to wait for a driver which is right next to the luggage carousel where you pickup your luggage. It is exactly the reason why we don’t want our passengers having to go anywhere and look for any bus stops especially that is not easily located at Sydney airport. And especially for passengers like yourself when you just go sit on the nearest bench expecting this to be a bus stop.. Your first driver was at your luggage carousel with our company sign waiting for you to approach him. So was the second and third driver. 3. Instructions which you didn't follow resulted in delay of 2 different services with passengers which you meant to be on, with THREE separate drivers trying to locate you all around the airport with no luck. 4. Your Tiger airline flight which we monitored came in early for which we accounted and pre-planed the shuttle service to pick you up on time. So every driver who was sent since your flight landed to pick you up reported a no show. 5. The last resource was to call you and find you. But! The phone number which you provided in the booking form was a landline number in Melbourne which we still tried calling in case someone would pick it up and hopefully would give us your mobile number. 6. I then hoped that if I email you and you would read it on the phone we could find you. Yes, I did say that the driver who was sent to pick ONLY you and was looking for you for the last 30! minutes would have to leave without you. And no way was it a threat. 7. Our company provided you with a PRIVATE and DIRECT transfer to Overseas Passenger Terminal for $37 only because you didn't follow our instructions, didn't provide your mobile number for us to call/find you and didn't call the office yourself to enquire where was your service. 8. All our drivers follow NSW road rules, allowed speeds and have appropriate driving manners. All have accredited licensees to carry passengers and go through scheduled regular check ups. And to call our driver a maniac is an insult. In your case driver had a 20 year driving experience. 9. Re your return, it would be at least human at least to notify us that you won't be using your return trip as we had to hold the driver for ONE hour at the OPT for you to no show up. Overall, I would suggest maybe using a taxi next time because shuttle service with pre-arrnaged pickup location, pickup time and the flight being monitored is just not designed for some people. And following simple instructions, providing contact number (other companies wouldn't even bother looking for you let alone calling) or at least try calling your transfer provider just seems to be too hard for some.

Really easy service to use, just booked and got picked up that evening from the airport.
The driver was extremely accomodating and friendly, along with the vehicle being new, clean and well looked after. + comfy seats!
I would definitely book again!

If you want to arrive on time without a headache DO NOT USE Go Sydney. When you sign up, you give flight info. My flight arrived 5 minutes early. I went to the assigned spot and notified the company via text that I had arrived--but only after waiting until 15 minutes after my scheduled arrival time. I waited. And waited. And waited. I texted to find out an ETA and Emma told me it would be 15 minutes after waiting 15 minutes--so 35 minutes after landing.

Another 20 minutes later Emma texted that it would late because there was "traffic due to construction." As if construction had just started since the earlier estimate of 15 minutes. I texted again after another 15 minutes--so 75 minutes after landing and she said that the driver was looking for me (despite the fact that I was standing in the directed spot). I found two other ladies (elderly) who had been waiting for over 90 minutes.

The driver (with a cane) showed up about 15 minutes later. He (ID# GU1246) was incredibly rude and walked away when I told him I was unhappy about the long wait time. We then waited another 15 minutes for him to find other passengers from a flight that had just landed. He was unable to help any of the senior ladies with their luggage and I ended up assisting them. When I complained to Emma she wrote back, "I have to go sorry." Disgraceful.

All in all, a disaster. Rudeness and complete ineptitude from all of their employees. I am happy to share screen shots with the timing of all of these texts to prove that they are absolutely liars.

Best shuttle service in Sydney, and we have used many others to date. The third time we've used Go Sydney and each time they have been timely, professional, friendly and cost effective. Our family will use them again.

With a day in Sydney enroute to Indonesia we decided to pre-book (and pay) for a shuttle to pick us up at the airport, take us to our hotel and return us to the airport the next day.

Our flight was due to land at 7.45am but was a few minutes late. By 8.30am we had cleared customs and found the stated meeting point. We understood that the shuttle might not be there immediately and anticipated perhaps a 10 - 15 minute wait. At 9am I called the office and was told that the shuttle was delayed as they were waiting for passengers from a delayed flight and to take a seat as the driver wouldn't be too far away. I asked how long he anticipated the wait would be and I was told around 20 - 25 minutes. I said that I felt the wait was unacceptable. I was asked if I was at the Meeting Point and after saying yes I was told that ''ýou have only just got there'. I replied no, we have been here since 8.30am to which the person again told me I hadn't been waiting for 30 minutes !!!

We debated taking a taxi but instead decided to grab a coffee and wait a little longer. At 9.33am we decided that we had had enough and would take a taxi. At that point, Mr I Dont Do Customer Service or Personality arrived with a sign. In the least possible number of words or any form of customer service he managed to ascertain that we and one other couple were his clients. At this point, he turned on his heels and headed out of the terminal at a fast trot. My partner and I followed with suit cases in tow, The poor couple behind were almost running to keep up.

We arrived at a just acceptable van ( a good clean of the ceiling would be a good starting point for a bit of a spruce up). Mr Charm and Personality did manage to put the bags in for us. As we left the airport he went straight through a stop sign and nicely squeezed the van in in front of the on coming car.

We arrived at our destination shocked at the level of service and quickly agreed that we had no confidence in the company getting us to our international flight on time the next day. The hotel offered us a chauffeur driven vehicle at a very reasonable cost we promptly asked the conceige to cancel our Go Sydney Shuttle despite it being pre-paid.

Frankly, we are shocked that this company manages to stay in business !

We hope that you got some time left to enjoy the beautiful Sydney. But it looks like you spent the whole day that you had in Australia for writing this 5 page review. You had a coffee at the airport and waited 25 minutes for a shared shuttle service instead of 15 minutes. The price that you have paid was AUD 15 to go from international terminal to the city. This would have costed you close to AUD 100 in the morning rush hour traffic by taxi and the same waiting time for the taxi.

Return trip much better than arrival trip which had a Airbus sign on bus.
Received email 18 hours prior and text half hour prior to disembarkation.
Bus newer and driver excellent.

I had the pleasure of travelling with Iouri from the airport to my hotel in the city. The trip was very enjoyable and the van was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Iouri was friendly and went out of his way to help with our luggage. His driving was impeccable, his ability to deal with Sydney traffic and get us to our hotel was quite refreshing and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable! 5 stars to Iouri!
