We selected Picture Me’s Blue Mountain day tour from Sydney because, unlike the other tour companies, this one departed Sydney at the very civilized hour of 10am. Terry, the company owner, tour guide and driver, was very personable and quite knowledgeable about all things Australia. He is also a professional photographer which was welcome for his tips on taking better photos. The ten hour day commenced with an unexpected and fun visit to a farm to see kangaroos, wallabies and a personal up close meeting with a koala. We then headed to the beautiful Blue Mountains for multiple stops-each offering truly spectacular vistas. One stop was for a 75 minute walk down to the lovely Wentworth Falls and back up. Not being in the best physical shape currently, I found this to be very challenging and exhausting. I should have passed on it from the onset and enjoyed the view from above. We visited a local old world hotel for a coffee stop that has a very interesting history. For food, Terry had prepared a simple picnic lunch and organized a restaurant stop for a quick one course dinner on our way back (both included in the cost). All in all, our day with Terry was a very good tour and I would recommend it.

Terry is a dedicated professional with a passion for the outdoors that comes across on this tour. He is a longtime resident of Sydney and shares the wealth of his local knowledge freely. He is punctual and strategic in the pacing of this adventure with snacks, a picnic-style lunch and evening dinner. The splendor and history of the Blue Mountains come through with his commentary and choices of viewing stations. He is also a professional photographer, to boot, and will take memorable photos of you with your own equipment. The limitation on group size makes for a more intimate and individual experience for participants. Don’t miss this opportunity if you’re in or plan on being in Sydney.

We gathered at 10am and had a relaxed start, but we enjoyed a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city with activities like the Blowhole Beach Walk and a rainforest walk.

Highly recommended for repeat visitors to Sydney.

Terry and James took care of us in many ways, including a BBQ lunch. It took about an hour and a half each way, but there were plenty of toilet breaks.

Amazing day out. Craig was a great guide and the small group made it feel very personal. Despite being high season Craig knew how to plan the day to stay away from the crowds.
Highlights were the VIP Koala meet, the trek around the waterfall and all the different viewing points along the way. Highly recommended trip

What a fantastic day! Everything from pick up to drop off was so smooth. The small group and late start really did seem to make a difference in the amount of crowds we ran into. Several lookouts and an incredible bush walk. Craig was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the area. You will need a much deserved shower and comfortable bed by the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Great small group trip. Despite the uncooperative weather, James was a positive and informative host. Wonderful hike in the Blue Mountains with amazing vistas, as well as a visit to a farm for an up close and personal visit with a koala. Both lunch and dinner were supplied- stops at restaurants including a lunch of traditional pies. We even saw some kangaroos in the wild!

The sydney sunset and night photography class with Terry was great! He tailored the content to my smartphone needs and holiday plans. The locations were amazing. I know I will be able to use all the practical but simple advice.

We only had a few days in Sydney but wanted to see the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains outside of town. While we saw the Three Sisters we got much more with our tour. Craig was a terrific guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains having grown up in the area and wanted us to love it as much as he did. We did. We saw koalas, kangaroos and cockapoos in addition to the amazing scenic countryside. It’s a must do for anyone visiting Sydney.
