Sarah is an excellent photography teacher. My photography improved markedly after just one session, her communication and follow up is very professional and I'm excited to see my photography skill set grow. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning about photography. She was also very diligent in managing instruction in a COVID-19 safe way, I never felt uncomfortable or concerned about being too physically close whilst still learning a lot. We were outdoors, maintained at least a 1.5 metre distance and Sarah made sure we sanitised our hands at regular intervals.

If you are looking for practical, informative and fun photography courses, I would highly recommend Signature Photography courses with Sarah.
I had some extra time on my hands this year, and completed a few courses throughout the year, including Essentials beginner photography, the Next Step photography, Adobe Lightroom Photo-editing and iPhone photography courses.
Sarah is amazing. She is very talented, personable, easy going, and at the same time efficient, knowledgeable and highly experienced. She shared a wealth of knowledge with me, including camera/Iphone settings, composition, light, angles, a huge number of tips and tricks etc. All her advice was excellent, she seems to know everything about photography!
Sarah has also shown me some beautiful parts of Sydney I would have never discovered on my own. Every session was wonderful and I couldn't wait for the next one.

Thank you Hanna for such a glowing and comprehensive review of the four SignaturePhoto photography courses you attended in recent months. You were such an enthusiastic student - keen to learn everything about using your mirrorless camera and also you iPhone for improving your photography. It was a joy to teach you and glad you found the courses fun and enjoyed the hands-on practical components of all the courses - the only way to really learn as you know! And you had fun getting to know parts of Sydney you hadn't visited before.

Sarah has been such a good find for me. She's given me confidence both in my technical abilities and in how to prepare, frame and take good shots. I'm in my early 60s and I find her patient and understanding and I also notice how her younger guests engage well with her - that's some talent!!

Was impressed with the individual approach by the SignaturePhoto. They enquired in advance as to what camera I was going to be bringing on the day, so that they were ready to help me set it all up appropriately. This was absolutely invaluable because I had been struggling with that part. Once the camera set up was out of the way, spend the rest of the day exploring Sydney and getting instant feedback on my photos. Had lots of fun experimenting with my camera and got a whole bunch of amazing shots out of it.

Have set my SLR to "Auto" for a long time and been disappointed with the results and gone to the iPhone instead.
Well after a great few hours spent with Sarah understanding the basics of great photography - "Auto" is no longer my friend and my new friend(s) are "Aperture Priority", "Exposure Triangle", "Leading Lines" and many more that we were introduced to.
Sarah's energy and enthusiasm is infectious as you start to appreciate the world through the eyes of a professional photographer.
Highly recommended and we'll be back to do more!

I had been looking for a course to help me get the most out of my camera which unfortunately was set to ‘Auto’ pretty constantly. This course was outstanding, in a few hours all the bits of information I had suddenly came together and Sarah was patient and attentive in helping me to see what I had previously ignored, my photos actually started to look really good. To have access to a professional for just a few hours was a treat and I came away with a new appreciation of a camera as opposed to an iPhone. If you have a few hours to acquire some new skills, see Sydney through different eyes and spend some time with a lovely person and all round great teacher then this is the course for you. Do it !

After attending Sarah's excellent iphone photography course, I signed up for the one day Essentials course for beginners with my mirrorless camera. Again, I was very impressed, Sarah has organised and tailored the course very well, where she initially explains the basics of photography clearly and concisely and then takes you to diverse locations around central Sydney to practice. She is very encouraging and works closely with every individual, to make sure they understand the main photographic principles. I walked away feeling more confident in using my high-end camera. You can tell that Sarah really cares about her students and is passionate about her craft. I'll definitely be taking Sarah's intermediate photography course next.

My wife and I recently undertook a private photography workshop with Sara from SignaturePhoto. I would highly recommend any of the photography workshops and courses that SignaturePhoto conduct. We both got some much out of the course which has improved greatly our photographic experiences. Sara has a vast amount of photographic knowledge that she passed onto us in language and terminology we easily understood. Her relaxed approach and patience made it a thoroughly enjoyable workshop. The workshops was very hands on which ensured that information about the principles of photography and our equipment were easily put into practice on the day.

I highly recommend Sarah's Essential Photography
Course for Beginner Photographers. I started with no knowledge of how to use my SLR camera to walking away feeling confident in my ability to use my camera on manual setting. Sarah is warm & friendly, creating a great atmosphere to learn from her wealth of knowledge. I can't recommend this course enough!

If I could rate this ten stars I would. Sarah absolutely spoils me and goes above and beyond to ensure that I manifest my greatest potential in the photography sphere. Although I am already an established full time photographer, I still find myself booking lessons with Sarah on a regular basis as the knowledge that there is to be extracted from her gifted mind is a gold mine for anyone who is serious about learning photography. Without a doubt the best in the business, I've attended these courses numerous times and my lessons with Sarah are far from over.

We are hoping to book one of your courses for next week. The weather forecast is for rain...... Do you cancel the course if it rains heavily? How do you organise the course/where do you go in the rain?

You didn't say which course next week - I'm assuming you are looking at booking The Essentials 1 day photography course on 24th May?? The current forecast is for sun, cloud and rain showers - not heavy rain and it is a long way off as they often get the forecast wrong even on the day. Please look at the course booking form page on SignaturePhoto website re if it rains on the day and also info about the course on Essentials page on website , The course goes ahead if rain showers as there are places to shoot undercover on the course. The course on 24th May includes VIVID night shooting and will go ahead regardless. . If it is the Essentials course on 24th may you are interested in booking then suggest you make booking asap as there are only 2 places left for this course date as popular - there are still places left for 27th May and 30th May.
