Shopping at the Victoria’s Basement Castle Hill Sydney Australia has been a very nice experience. The various sections of homeware are displayed across a spacious area. One can find some useful homeward and some decent bargains. Some of the Australian themed ceramics like Dan Samuels are good collectibles and gifts to overseas visitors. The dinnerware and crystal glassware is of good quality and often user friendly with dishwasher and microwave utility. The Churchill and Noritake dinnerware collection is elegant. The Benzer collection is solid ceramics for daily use that is dishwasher and oven safe. The Nachtman crystal collection is excellent. The in store staff are very friendly and efficient. Online shopping and delivery is very convenient. I enjoy shopping at Victoria’s Basement at Castle Hill and at the QVB.

Thought the prices and merchandise was great. Enjoyed seeing some of the higher end dishes and cookware at a discounted price.

Agree with previous reviewer. I would give zero stars if possible. The rudest, most offhand service ever experienced. It’s not fair to say it’s Christmas and we’re busy. All these customers are spending money, therefore paying your wages. Be nice to them. I will only go to Peters of Kensington in future. This place is off my list.

I used to love this shop but recently the customer service is driving loyal customer like myself to Peters of Kensington. Special call out to staff member Ben In Artarmon store, the most obnoxious and rude staff ever. Not helpful, giving reason of “being this time of the year“ as excuses to deliberately ignoring service requests. Will not go back again.

We have been to this Victoria's Basement a couple of times. It is in an interesting location and gets a lot of passing trade. It is full of things you would need in your kitchen, bathroom and generally around the house, but there sure is a lot of crockery and plates, pots and pans and the like. Initially we thought this was great, pricewise, as they display very high "recommended" prices crossed out for "lower" prices. However when you really think about it, even their "lower" prices are still too high, on most items. We have found many similar items in other stores for less. But then every prospective buyer will do whatever they wish best for them, anyway.
