This is a great park right in the centre of the city in Darling Harbour. They have all the Australian wildlife including koalas, kangaroos and a huge saltwater crocodile. We had never been so closet to one before, it was a great experience. The animal carers are very informative and we loved having our photo taken with the Koalas. Its... More

The expectations set by their marketing materials couldn't be met on the day we toured. Perhaps this was because it was winter (July) and a rainy day; but, then there should be a winter price and expectation. On our rainy, cold day there were no koalas that looked anything like the charmer they post. The poor koalas were rolled into... More

Hello doodlemummum, I am sorry to hear that your visit did not match your expectations. We do see on the colder/wet days that some of the animals choose to be less active (I would rather stay in bed on those days too!); however please let me assure you that all of our outdoor exhibits offer our animals the opportunity to... A great option for travelers who are short on time while in Sydney. A lot of native Australian species on display here including Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats etc. It is better to buy online the discounted 5-attraction pass which includes Madame Tussauds, Sydney Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Tower Eye & Manly Sea Aquarium. Plan your visit in such a way the... More

The concert of this zoo makes it a perfect all weather attraction. It is built into a building and you spiral your way around the outside and the animals are in the centre. A little different to the traditional zoo but our family loves the place and vistis a couple of times a year.

We enjoyed going to this place with kids. We had 5 kids ages ranged in 8-14. They all had fun and enjoyed the animals plus the place had employees come out with some animals to touch and interact with the kids. We also did the lorikeets feeding which was fun and a bit messy eaters. They also have an enclosure... More

We are Sydney locals and decided to visit Wildlife World Darling Harbour. We pre purchased tickets but still had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighborhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to DJ's. Families can visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Australian National Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
