This review focuses on the Lord Nelson as a great piece of Sydney's history. A lovely old building housing the longest continually licensed hotel, it is beautiful to look at and if you pop inside, has some lovely historic photos around the walls to appreciate...More

Great microbrewery located in a quaint old hotel off the beaten track in "The Rocks" area. Great selection of beers and the bartenders are a friendly bunch. The have some nice curries in their food menu. I will be back to give them a try...More

The Lord Nelson is a historic pub with plenty of charm in The Rocks. That was the main interest for me. Service, food and beer were average/disappointing.

Review is only for the beer. The best one was the porter, had decent flavor, but the rest of the beers where not very impressive. They do offer tasting paddles which I appreciated.

Americans living in Sydney, we love this pub for its comfortable vibe, great food and low key atmosphere. We always order the dark ales, cold, interesting and creamy. The cab sauv red was deep, intense and a little sweet. The prices are excellent- we ordered...More

Visited this historic pub upon recommendation from a friend. The pub was very busy so we headed upstairs to the restaurant. It was more upscale than we expected but comfortable. I had the vegetarian curry, my husband had the fish curry - both were great....More
