An old favourite. With the light rail construction finished, its now got a new park area next to it, plus its outside seating back - great area for a drink. No food comment in this review, but this pub has dozens of craft beers, over half a dozen versions of expresso martini + a heap of gins and whiskeys. Great for a catch up with friends.

This place is definitely one of the best craft beer places in Sydney. Great atmosphere though they could lose the TV. Real English pub feel on a grey day. Try their beer paddle selection.

If you like a range of craft beers with your meals, this is the place. The food and atmosphere made this one of the best pub/restaurants we went to.

Loved the welcome from friendly bar staff. Spoiled for choice with eclectic range of beers. Pleasant relaxed vibe. Will be back soon to try the food.

Distinguishes itself by a huge range of craft beers, reasonable prices but there wasn't much exciting to the range, which was generally low alcohol and the D&O branded lager was very basic. Pleasant environment.

I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5 if that was possible. We went for the Roast Turkey special on Sunday evening. This is one of those restaurants where you order at the bar and bring your own drinks to the table. You also order your food and are given a table number so that staff will know where to deliver the order when it's ready.
Our turkey meal came quite quickly burt unfortunately some of the food on the plate was lukewarm. We asked a staff member to have the plates warmed up and they came back with even more turkey on top. The veggies were really good! The peas were fresh tasting and cooked just al dente. The carrots, squash and cauliflower all equally good. The turkey however was all white meat and looked like it was cooked as a roll and not a whole turkey. We found it a tad dry and lacking in seasoning. The stuffing was good but the serving was rather on the small side.
I must say that this was a nice pub and that the bathrooms were very clean. When we askd the staff for help they were very good.

Great selection of craft beers on top, and some wonderful works of art on the wall as well. Nice beer garden, though a little dark.

We booked our Christmas party at this venue and booked for the Christmas menu. We booked 1 month in advance but were not told it had to be paid for in advance. No where on their web site does it state this either! The day before our party they rang to confirm our booking for the normal menu!. We corrected them - we had booked for the Christmas menu but they would not budge and only offered 2 selections of their normal menu and 1 desert off their normal menu. After several phone calls and much angst we were offered an additional choice for desert. The Christmas menu offered 4 entrée choices, 6 mains choices and 4 desert choices. We could have had an entre and main or main and desert. Now we are reduced to items off their normal menu and a choice of 2 and they wanted to charge us the same price! Nothing to compensate us at all and then lied to cover their tracks.

We arrived and the place was packed with people on a Friday night. We tasted one of the many beers on tap and then found a seat. Food was great, beers cold and tasty.

Nice place, in Surry Hills not at all far from Central Station. There is a huge selection of beers from craft to Carlton. We had food which was inexpensive and tasty pub fare.
The staff were friendly and organised. There are screens for sport and an outside area.
