We stayed at the Hotel Coronation for one night. The room was a little small but I knew that from the website. The bed was a little hard but ok room and linen all very clean. Really for the price and the convenience of being able to hop on and off the train at Town Hall it was worth it.... More

Great hotel with a fantastic bar right on Park St and 50 metres to the Town Hall Suites were comfortable although a little tired. It's an old style hotel and has a lot of history. Travis and TJ, the accommodation managers were very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay again purely for the convenient location and for value for money!

Good service and house keeping made my stay a pleasant one. Woolsworth is located just beside the hotel and its 24hrs so getting a late grocery is not... More

Stayed here on a stop over in the city before travelling on to NZ. Location was spot on, great for seeing the city sights, and convenient for the train to get back to the airport. I was a bit dubious when we arrived due to the 24 hour bar underneath, but the rooms were clean and not too noisy. Comments... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
