Neighborhood: Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

I was travelling alone and stopped by for a beer at this great place. Although attached to the Rydges, it was a nice little bar in it's own right and had everything you need with an excellent selection of beers and good food.
The staff were friendly and the happy hour made the prices very attractive. A bar probably targeted more at the corporate market but would definitely visit again.

We were in Sydney for a conference and stayed in an airBNB in Surry Hills. This brewery was just a few blocks away and we stopped here several times for either a beer or dinner. We enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere and the bartenders were helpful and remembered us. Definitely worth trying!

We love a good beer and food - this place fits the bill. I love the Lager and my husband experienced them all. The food was great - Cauliflower Chips (could have been hot) and the pizza - very nice.

They do some very hoppy beer (which I like) but it seemed very sweet and didn't impress me much. It's a hotel bar and prices are at hotel levels, plus they charge a card fee without disclosing it.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food for relatively moderate prices. A large meal for one, with wine ( also good), $50. This level of meal would be &110-150 per person in Sydney centre.

A friendly and QUICK service. Can do attitude of staff.

Great food, great service, live music

A bistro at the quality level of a
fine dining white tablecloth restaurant. A rare find. Be back.

Ducked in here for lunch on a hot weekday afternoon. Beautiful decor, good beer, beautiful and clean restrooms. We had a hard time finding the restaurant because it is above a very busy food court. Really comfortable spot for lunch away from the masses.
