Fantastic and easy way to enjoy one of Sydney’s beaches from a totally different perspective! Also great if you are short of time but want to see some underwater wildlife- in this single trip I saw stingray, octopus, groper, shark (not the dangerous type!) and many smaller fish. Good for solo travellers or groups

Rather odd and different to previous places. Normally when I have these strange experiences at places, it would be an excursion, "Magic School Bus" type of thing, but this time it was by myself. It started of as normal with entering this scuba diving adventure. Before I went to scuba dive, I did some swimming for fun to prepare for the activity but when I was there, there was no instructor but only me and scuba diving gear with seemingly no one else. Afterwards, I was suddenly knocked out by someone and then they quickly made me wear the scuba diving equipment and bought me to the bottom of the pool. I then woke up and realised I was trapped and had to escape. I managed to survive but the evil person was never discovered. I then went away from this place and promised myself to never come back.

Whilst driving through Matraville, i thought i would drop into Sydney Dive Safari at 512 Bunnerong Road, alas their shop is 'no more'. On getting home i tried to access their website, also tried ringing them, all to no avail.
As there was no indication of their demise at the Matraville address, i would advise anyone to be careful if thinking of booking anything with them by any means.

I purchased a try dive voucher for my brothers 21st birthday and 2 months later they were closed and deleted their facebook and website and are refusing to pick up their phone regarding my $200 refund!

They’re permanently closed for business but not closed to take my money!

On 2nd October I was allowed to book off of their website for a dive Tuesday 6th October.
I was yet to receive a confirmation email so I tried to contact them via phone which is disconnected!!
Their website said they were to be closed the day of my dive due to the public holiday! (yet they still took my money and their website still allowed me to book for that day!)
I emailed them and received an automated reply that they’ll contact when they can and that “we have been unable to negotiate any adjustment to our lease leaving us with the difficult decision to vacate”.
I still haven’t heard from them. I’ve now had to escalate it with PayPal.
So disrespectful. Avoid them if I were you!

I did some of the SSI specialty course ( Nitrox, Deep , Navigation and Night) provided by Sydney Dive Safari. Excellent support and professionalism provided by Miguel and the instructors ( Graham and Dillan) whom were following me during the training and mostly during the practical exercises. I did improve a lot thanks to them. Highly recommended

The course was very informative and held at a first class location for this type of event , Bondi Icebergs
Our instructor Matt was very helpful , experienced and calm which helped greatly when undertaking this type of training.

A well balanced half day course to get back up to where left off diving. I was pretty rusty but Steve was calm clear and methodical. Despite challenging weather conditions we successfully completed our skills and had an enjoyable dive.
Recommended if you’re looking to get back into the water safely.

Sydney Dive Safari did an excellent job preparing me for my diving adventures with their open water diver course. Graham methodically went through all the aspects of diving safety, giving me the confidence that I would understand what to do in all situations I would reasonably face when diving. I wholeheartedly recommend Sydney Dive Safari to learn diving skills.
