The Snowy Mountains hydro scheme truly is a great engineering accomplishment and the visitors centre is well worth a stop to get an understanding of the construction phase as well as current operations. Good overview provided on the tour. The drive through the mountains also provides insight into the scale of the project. Really interesting.
