Watson's Bay has some great fish and chip places. It juts out at the mouth of Sydney Harbour and is a beautiful, semi-upscale area. There are a lot of bays and inlets all around the harbour and beaches. This is one of the better ones and worth a stop either by car or ferry.

18 Months back we had lunch at Dunbar House in the park overlooking the harbour , There many other places to eat by the beach at Watsons Bay the Hotel or on the pier or the Famous Doyles which is upmarket as is Dunbar House.

Another good way to see Sydney from the harbour. Watson bay nice spot with excellent fish & chippy at ferry wharf, had a good feed off fish& squid rings & chips. Easy walk to south head of harbour entrance and short walk to eastern coast walk to Bond. Spotted some whales.

Beautiful Watson's Bay, an easy ride by ferry from Circular Quay. A nice lunch at one of the restaurant to compliment the ferry ride.

Great spot you can take ferry from circular quay. Stopped for amazing seafood lunch @ Doyle's then walked up to the gap. A Sydney visit must!

This was a lovely ferry trip (there is an express) and it was so refreshing after the hustle and bustle of Sydney. Just nice to get away for a few hours or even a day or two..

You can get walk up food at Doyles and sit in the park and enjoy a nice day. It is becoming a bit commercial these days but is a fun stop if you are doing a ferry ride.

The Watson's Bay walk is a walk in the park, very easy and relaxing. But it is of historical significant when you get to the light house, where it control the ins and out of ship into the Sydney Harbour.. The Lady bay is also interesting as a nudist bay, it is a bit small and non-exclusive. When you finish... More
