Coming on a bleak windy day but sunny no real places for shade of the cold wind blowing so you cannot enjoy a picnic without certain items flying away and the need for extra pair of hands to hang on and eat

This park is so enormous that on a Monday I was barely aware of the other people enjoying this great facility. How many more public toilets could one need in a public park! Most unexpected.

This park is magnificent, beautifully maintained with lovely walking paths, ovals, bike tracks, places for dogs, kids, coffee and peace in a busy city.

Good place for family gathering and BarBQ, loads of stuff for kids to play around and have fun. Tough to find a place near the river though on weekends

We regularly go there for a long walk along the parks and for my six year old boy to ride his scooter or bike. Great to have the rental bike so you can enjoy a ride without needing to load the car with the bike...More

Spots for everyone. The park has wooded areas, remote areas, and sporting fields for play. The bats in the center of it all are wonderful.

I like to run but Sydney streets are difficult due to all the intersections and traffic lights but I did discover Centennial park. It's huge with lakes, pony tracks, sports fields etc and has plenty of tree lined tracks for a jogger to enjoy. But...More

Centennial Park is huge and lovely green pace in the middle of Eastern Suburbs. It is very tranquil and beautiful also. It is a vast and beautiful area to visit. There are many routes around the park. Probably it is advisable to get a park...More

Stayed very close to the park and visited it many times during my stay. It was a great place for a walk, or jog at anytime of the day. It is beautifully maintained and has several options to stop for a coffee or lunch.

We had a wedding in the park in May and the place is stunning brilliant for capturing stunning photos and a huge amount of space. Would be perfect for a family picnic or family reunion

Hello- We are visiting in a few weeks and your review is the only one that mentions the bats still being in the park. You you mind tell me where in the park you were able to see them? Thank you, Stacy McCormack

The bats are not in Centennial Park all of the year. Not sure what months there away. The place to see the Bat colony is in Botanical Gardens in Sydney. It is a beautiful very big park on Sydney harbour. There are signs to... More
