We did the 4 day Wine along tour from Sydney to Hunter Valley, Mudgee and Orange. Great concept that you can go in the lead van or drive behind to each destination. Once you arrive at your destination you jump on the lead van for wine tasting. Every place we visited was different and we got to taste chocolate, cheese, beer and visited a brewery and distillery as well. Accomodation was great, nice, clean, comfortable. Highly recommend this tour to explore NSW beautiful regional winery with an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

Excellent organization, perfect tour, Chris O"Neill a great guide, driver, commentator.

We loved doing the Tag Along Wine Tour.
The experience was flawless beginning to end.
Loved experiencing how different the Hunter Valley, Mudgee and Orange are.
Every stop was carefully thought out and showcased the regions. Sampled world class wine, gin, chocolate and food.
Great accommodation. Really clever concept. Amazing bunch of people.
The regions are really busy. Perfect way to see them and have the hard work done for you.

Morning pickup very on-time, and my wife and I were joined by another 3 groups of ladies from around the world. The guide/ driver Daniel is a very nice, fun-loving and caring lad with very humorous and informative character - he was kind enough to stop by in the middle of the ride just to let us (non-Australian visitors) to take photos of a curious kangaroo!
We were taken to 3 different wineries with various scales (small family run, a big/famous one with lunch, and a medium sized one), also visited a distillery on vodka/ schnapps and a chocolate place.
Lunch was great, a wide selection of wine (we tried a total of around 15 different wines), as well as cheese/ chocolate/ vodka and liquor tasting - worth the time, worth the money and a well-spent day!
Highly recommend this tour, and if you are lucky enough to have Daniel be your guide!

We've had a wonderful day out to the Hunter Valley with Zepher Tours. Really nice and knowledgable guide, good mix of one bigger and two small wineries, delicious lunch, interesting vodka tasting and a small diverse group. Highly recommended!

I book the tour without really knowing what to expect, and I have to confess it was a great surprise! Leaving a side the fact that it was pretty well organized, Daniel, our driver/tour guy/John Snow lost brother, was extremely nice and made the whole experience even better.
The tour basically consist in wine tasting in three different wineries, with completely different styles. The Valley produce nice white wines, but if you want to have a red wine, I recommend you to have a Syrah (given the weather of the Valley) is other red varieties do not grow/ripe as they should.
In terms of price quality of the tour, I think it's a best value, given the fact that you have included in the price transportation (nice bus, with aircon), tasting of wine/vodka and liquors..and some food (cheese, spices and chocolates). Do keep in mind that it is tasting of food, therefore the quantities are not big, but they have really good quality. You also have lunch included, so you are not going to get hungry during the tour. In fact, after a whole day of tasting wines and food, you may skip dinner at night.

We went with zepher tours for a friends 21st and we couldn't have hoped for a better way to spend the day. Our tour leader dan has been amazing!!!

Great wine, vodka, cheese and chocolate tastings all in one day! The steak, partnered with wine, which was served for lunch was the best. Our tour guide Scotty was very accommodating.

We travelled with these awesome guys Stu and Konrad from Cairns to Brisbane in 14 amazing days. They showed us other beautiful places arround Cairns besides the beaches, like a farm, fruit-plantages an we also did canuing during the night! At Arlie Beach, my gilrfriend and me had booked an upgrade to do a 2 days sailingtrip arround the Whitsunday Isands and as we went back, who was already expecting us at the pier? It was Stu the owner of this super company, now you see he really cares for his customers and always gives over 100%. We were so happy to see him, thank you! After that we spend more awesome days for example at Myella Farm Stay (also Tripadvisor), at Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach including Boomerang paintings with aboriginal People. We had a dancing night and so much fun all the time.
There´s one bad thing about this here. These tourguides are so unbelievable unique and awesome, that we are afraid all our other future tours will boring and so we are kind of avoiding tours right now. We would always compare it to ZEPHER TOURS and nothing can beat these guys!!!

Amazing tour, driving through the beautiful wine region of nsw, zepher tour has introduced the hunter valley with great wine/chocolate/beer tasting experience!!! Thank you Flinders for your awsome commentary and interedting knowledge (espesh the bridge tour ;-) ) definitely recommend!

No we don't pick up from the Travelodge Airport Hotel. However you could make your way to Mascot Station and get the train to Central Station where our pick up location at St Laurence Church, 812 George St, is at 7.25am. There would be room on the bus if you have bags.

Since this is a wine tour why are children allowed? Do they visit the wineries also? Do you typically have many of them during the week?

Hi and thanks for the message. You bring up a great point that we would love to communicate with potential guest.
We do not have children join the tour very often at all, in fact we only created this option to cater for a young family who wanted to bring their kids on a tour one day so we were helping them out by creating the option (when we tasted wine, beer and organic vodka the children are allowed to sit to the side in a family friendly area.
Our typical guest are like minded, fun travellers (young and old) who are looking for a fun day out with great music, beautiful scenery and a great variety of local produce to taste and purchase if they wish.
I hope that answers your questions and we hope you join us for a fun day out in the Hunter Valley :)
