Oatley Park is a fantastic place to visit, whether it be on foot, bicycle or car. There is something for everyone to do, from bush walking, bird watching, fishing or swimming, The views from the lookouts are stunning too.

Oatley Park is perfect for safe bushwalking, and exploring with children. The castle, an old lookout built early last century, is great for parties and BBQs. The river beach, with a shark net, is perfect for summer swimming. I walk there a few times every week, enjoying the views over the water of the Georges River. A great playground on... More

Oatley Park is a beautiful place to visit. It largely consists of natural bushland with numerous walking tracks which pass through many different habitats. There is also a large oval, playground (featuring the historic steamroller), barbeques, an historic sandstone 'castle', swimming area with beach on the Georges River, lookouts, a duck pond, and a wetlands area. As travellers from Perth staying with friends nearby we decided to spend some time exploring the local bush land instead of just focusing on the traditional Sydney highlights and it was totally worth it. Great place hidden in the back of Oatley. Access to the river, small beach, plenty of BBQ area's. Kids playground, soccer oval, bush trails, sealed road if you want to ride through the park. Just beautiful...

Amazing bushland 144 ha bushland oasis on bend of the Georges River. There is a huge netted swimming beach with changing rooms & toilets on the southern side.
