I've visited Urban Jungle Adventure Park twice. The first time was with my 8-year old daughter. We had such a wonderful time - adventurous and challenging, but clearly very safety-oriented - that we booked her birthday party there a couple of months later.

All of the girls had a fabulous time. Even the ones who were initially timid turned into real go-getters by the end of the day. The guides are great with kids - lots of encouragement, with a little cheekiness, and lots of kudos for bravery in the face of tough challenges. The kids left feeling like superheroes, and I think the adults had every bit as much fun!

I wholeheartedly recommend Urban Jungle Adventure Park, whether for a couple of hours on a given afternoon or as the perfect place for a party.

We were visitors to Sydney from the U.S. - and looking for something where my 11-year old and 17-year old could burn off some energy. We took public transport to the Olympic Park stop; and headed over for the 9:30 spot at Urban Jungle. Very impressive. Here's what I found:
1.) 5 courses - each one gradually harder
2.) Full attention from a guide - stayed with us always
3.) Since we finished early; the chance to do the hardest ones again (which we did)
4.) Good conversation about living in Australia
5.) A very heavy emphasis on safety
6.) A chance to both climb, crawl, and zip along

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The course was fun - I climbed things I never thought I would! You do have to be a bit flexible for a couple of the things and not scared of heights! We had a ball and would do it again.

This was a fun group of courses that started easy and got gradually harder, although not too hard with the kids (2 x 9, 11 and 12). Would have been good to offer a more challenging last course perhaps?
Safety and equipment explanation at the start was good and the whole course is designed to be easy to use but very safe. The on ground supervision by staff towards the end was not as good as in the beginning. My daughter who was 3 people ahead of me got stuck in one spot on a flying fox and I was unable to help her so luckily the father of another child helped her out from the ground. She wasn't in danger, but no one could move on until she got to the other side, so would have been good if there was a staff member around.
Overall a fun and safe experience that I'd definitely recommend. Free entry to the aquatic centre is a bonus.

Kids loved it, adults loved it, staff were great. they patiently got us set up and talked us through the "clip its" in great detail.
I honestly thought I'd be too out-of-condition to attempt the last, most difficult course. But it was worth it to get onto that fabulous flying fox.
We had such a laugh. Make sure you can spend a whole morning (or afternoon) there to get the most out of this assault course.
We also enjoyed the Aquatic Centre at the Olympic Pool afterwards.
Top tip: take your own lunch/snacks with you. The cafe inside the Aquatic Centre isn't the best and the lady on duty that day was surly.
Staff at Urban Jungle Adventure... you all rock!!!

We took a group of 11 (2 adults & 9 kids between 10-13 years old) to Urban Jungle in the school holidays for my daughters 10th birthday. We booked a few weeks ahead & had 5 others join our group. Staff & instructors were great, they explained the rules and cable system well. On first glance the park looked small but it took us the alloted 2 hours to get around the 4 courses. My husband and I also joined the kids climbing and found some of the course a bit of a challenge! It's not a cheap excursion but the kids enjoyed every minute, if we had more time we would have stayed & enjoyed the pool as well, food is available in the pool area but we decided to take snacks & drinks & get Macca's on the way home. The 2 hours wasn't enough time for our group to get around the four courses more than once, we would have liked at least another 1/2 hour to an hour to get around some of the courses again (or the instructing could be done before your 2 hour time slot starts and not eat into your allocated time). Overall fantastic experience & I'm sure we'll be going there again

We went there with our kids (8,10,13) as they love climbing. We also planned a swim at the aquatic centre afterwards (same location) to cool off, but in the end the kids were happily exhausted from all the aerial activities so we missed the swim.

Whilst close to the aquatic centre the ropes course is in amongst lots of beautiful native trees so the atmosphere is very nice. Also the whole Olympic park is close by so you could combine with Archery, Bike riding etc etc.

I was very impressed by the harness/safety system as it was more advanced than the other climbing park we had been to. The kids are secured by two carbiner thingos over the wire cables, and the technology ensures that when one carbiner is taken off (to attempt a new obstacle) the other locks, so it cannot be released, so safety seemed number one priority.

At the end of time there my two younger children immediately pestered me to hold their upcoming birthday parties at Urban Jungle - so they really loved it. I love a bit adventure so I enjoyed completing the courses as a 45 y.o. Dad.

Thoroughly recommend this for families with kids 8 years and over.

We took a grandson (8yo) to the Urban Jungle during the school holidays, and it was a fabulous experience, and enjoyed by us all. It even provides a good level of challenge, and while it looks a bit scary, it is quite safe, and well monitored by the supervisors. Our supervisor (Tory) was great.

A father & daughter afternoon spent completing this course which exceeded expectations. Challenging enough for both children and adults, this is a must-do if you are in the area and decently priced too!

My three children aged 11,10 and 9 all thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Urban Jungle . We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff member (Sam) on our arrival which was just the start of a great day out . Staff member Imogen clearly explained and demonstrated the instructions and she happily guided any inexperienced climbers throughout the course .
Highly recommend
