The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

There's lots of seating and everyone that we encountered was very nice and helpful. They had done it up and it looks really nice! There's lots of bathrooms and lots of places to get something to eat and drink!!! Lots of signage and lots of helpful people around if you're not sure of where you're going.

Thank you for your review. So wonderful to hear you think the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is the best place to watch cricket and to hear of your most cherished moment. I have to agree with you, I think the SCG is the best place to watch cricket - but I might be a little bias! Have a great day. More

Don't do the tour if your are expecting to see anything but traditions. Cricketers are generally such a superstitious bunch that they don't want to change the facilities and prefer to walk the same steps as those before them. You won't find the latest of technologies. That said you will appreciate the history that lives on in the old buildings... More

Hi Thank you for your feedback and glad you found the 90 minute tour worthwhile. Whilst we do have the latest world class technologies here at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium, we have found our tour visitors enjoy hearing the legends of past and present players, spectators and behind the scenes of the facilities themselves. Have a great... More

We came here for the opening round of the AFL season and found staff were unhelpful or simply uninformed. We were given conflicting directions on how to get to our stand, signage was either confusing or non existent, food was very expensive (but then it is in most sporting venues), information on travel was very scarce and we had to... The venue and the ground is fantastic but the food and drink are what can I say but pathetic. The food is over priced I got a small tasteless piece of fish and soggy and some dry poor excuse for chips and was charged $11. The beer was flat. I have had the hot dog in the past and again... More

The Sydney Cricket Ground is one of the most iconic stadium, not just in Australia, but in the world and if one is a cricket lover, it's virtually a place of pilgrimage. I consider myself lucky to have visited this great venue not once, but twice: for a test match as well as for the stadium visit. Both trips gave... More
