Good museum with information about the Harbour Bridge but please note it is a walk up 200 steps each way.

We stopped here to view the Sydney Opera House and harbour. It is a perfect area to take pictures with the opera house in the background. This area is just beautiful! On the other side is a view of the ships in harbour.

On a trip across the Bridge , took time out to climb the Pylon and learn about the building of the Bridge itself. Very informative and a great place to view the Harbour and surrounding city scape

If you are fit enough to climb a hundred steps then do it on a fine day. You can see all over the city and water. Only costs a couple of dollars too.

Went in here on spur of the moment as we were walking across the bridge. It's well worth the small fee as the views from the turret are excellent, you can walk right around the top and there is also an excellent exhibition inside which...More

After having completed the Bridge climb the previous night, we went and used the free tickets for the Pylon climb / museum. As you cant take your own camera on the Bridge climb, this gives you the opportunity to visit a really good little museum...More

The Pylon Lookout is a must do activity, mainly if you're in Sydney for the first time. There is a pedestrian path that goes from one side to the other of the Bridge, which is a very nice walk. The lookout is in the middle...More

Excellent history about the bridge, fascinating to understand how it was built and the engineering involved in it. Also some very nice views from the outdoor platform at the top.

You great a fabulous view of the harbour from here, and the museum is interesting too. Great alternative to splashing $300+ on the Bridge Climb.

Got free admission having done the Bridge Climb. Nearly didn’t bother but glad we did. The museum part was very interesting and the view from the top was excellent and a far cheaper alternative to the far more expensive Climb.

No need to buy tickets in advance, it’s usually not that busy. If you’re planning on doing the Bridgeclimb aswell, they’ll give you complimentary pylon entrance tickets. If I remember correctly the fee is about 15$ each... More
