This far-flung park girdling the harbour area has many excellent walking trails, of which we sampled a few. One was the South Head Heritage Trail, which takes you from Camp Cove (near the wharf at Watsons Bay) along a well-maintained pathway to South Head and the Hornsby Lighthouse. It offers a range of great views, and even includes a clothing-optional... More

We drove along the North Head Scenic Drive stopped by a few places to catch a superb view of the Sydney Harbour. Spotted a random porcupine too! There is a Fairfax Lookout Point but due to extremely hot weather and hunger, we did not explore that. Definitely worth to give it a go!

One of the many sights you can visit when you find yourself in or around Sydney. Enjoy the tranquil setting, listen to the native birds calling from the bushland setting, and revel in the warm waters of this harbor cove. Sydney has many, many other such destinations available to you—you need only ask the next Aussie you see! A moment... More

Catch a ferry from Circular Quay to Watson's Bay then approx. 10 min walk to Camp Cove! Scenic but relatively easy walk! The track is a loop so you begin at Camp Cove and make your way to Hornby Light house and back.

I took the Eastern Beaches ferry from circular quay to WB, then headed up to the main street, turn left and followed my way around the streets to the SHNP. Amazing views (beautiful 18 degrees, & sunshine)!! The Naval Base is located on a significant piece of SH, however, you can easily get around to enjoy the views, the history... More
