I have done this climb twice now its something I would never get fed up of. I first climbed this in the day then last month climbed it at night. The views are stunning no matter what time you go but I did enjoy seeing the city lights of the evening. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. A must... More

This is simply an awesome experience when the weather is good. We had a very good day weather wise and the views are amazing. The staff are very experienced, friendly and knows their product very well. However, I'm not convinced the costs for this experience allow the "man in the street" this same opportunity I just had. This is quite... More

It was an amazing experience throughout. It's a little expensive, but worth paying for since you'd prob only need climb it once. Prior to the climb, we spent some time going through some safety instructions on the climb, after having been suited up. It's both nerve wrecking, yet exciting as you approach the climb. For safety reasons, you obviously cannot... More

This is a must do experience in Sydney. The whole experience was well organized and ran smoothly. As others have noted, you cannot take anything except sunglasses and essential medication on the climb. No cameras, no watches. The staff take you through the process of suiting up, getting your harness and headsets on. Our guide was Scott who made the... More

I saw this on the Amazing Race and knew that if I ever visited Sydney, I'd have to do this. I was not disappointed! It was a great experience and worth the time and money. It is physically much easier than it appears from below. There is only a section that is ladder-like climbing and then the rest is lest... More

Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is really an awesome experience. The sunrise or sunset climbs are the most popular & we did the sunset climb. We live in Sydney but seeing it from the top of the Bridge is quite spectacular. It is expensive but its a once in a lifetime thing to do. Loved it!

Cost of about $150 per adult, which at first we thought was a lot. However, this is a first class operation. Tour/climb takes about 3 1/2 hours. First 45 minutes is spent getting suited up, equipment, instructions and history. You are provided a jumpsuit, safety harness, instructions, radio and headsets so you can hear your tour guide during the climb,... More

Climbing the Sydney Harbor bridge was the highlight of our stay in Sydney. We booked a twilight tour and were so happy that we did. It's still daytime when you start your climb. You get to watch the sun go down and the lights come on in the city. It is nighttime when you start your decent back down the... More

On our recent trip to Sydney a friend and I decided to add the BridgeClimb to our itinerary. The hardest thing to decide was when to climb! We ended up choosing to do the night climb. We were a little worried about how cold it would be, but they give you rain/outer pants, a fleece plus choices of beanies and... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
