Usually busy and a bit overpriced, sometimes you can get great deals specially on branded second hand clothes. You can reach it easily by bus

One of the oldest markets in Sydney selling arts, craft and fashion from local designers. You'll also find plants breads and pastries, coffee and a variety
of international foods. It is on the grounds of Historic Paddington Uniting Church and adjacent Paddington Public School. Toilets are on sight and there is a small childrens playground.
There is plenty of parking inside and around centennial park the closest point being about 5 minutes walk to the market. Check out our day. Best Sydney Parks

A busy and well patronised market in the grounds of the public school. Much variety and good walking areas. Worth a peek.

Wife and I came here and she loved the local vendors and their products. She bought an expensive leather bag, jewelry and other things while I sat and waited. This is not my cup of tea but the wife loved it so it must be pretty good.

I haven't been for over 15 years. It is not as big as it used to be. Lots of similar stores but you can get a bargain. Well worth a visit. You can then go upstairs for some retail stores, coffee, food etc.

We used to come To these markets about 15 years ago and loved them. I still remember fondly the stall that sold Belgian waffles and another that sold amazing steak sandwiches. It was bustling with people and interesting stalls.

We returned recently and were dismayed at how this has gone downhill. The stalls are all alike and considerably overpriced. We had money burning a hole in our pockets and couldn’t find anything remotely unique boutique to spend it on.

There is now a dedicated food area and there were lots of options. From Memory a laksa place that sold a good but not super tasty bowl for $5; a dumpling stall, Nepalese, gozleme, fruit juicer, crepes (oh my goodness these were massively overpriced) - but as there were hardly any people in the market at lunch time on Saturday one couldn’t help but feel sorry for the stall holders.

Sadly we won’t be returning.

Paddington Market is ist he gorgeous suburb of paddington with lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops. Do not mix up Paddy‘s Markets which is in Darling Harbour.
At Paddington Markets you get local graft from unusual jewelry, handmade cloths to hand made soap. The market was huge 10 years ago and is now much smaller which was a bit disappointing for me, but it is still worth a visit to find some unique gifts or souvenirs.
