The Botanic Gardens were a nice surprise! Lots to see and always that glimpse of the Harbour, the Opera House or the Bridge. A tourist train travels through the gardens and if you were time poor it would be a good way to see the...More

This park is gorgeous and tranquil. I don't think I ever wrote a review about a park and never spent so much time at a park as I did at this beautiful place. While you walk through and enjoy the beauty of this park you...More

Coming from dry WA it was a wonderful experience to walk through Sydney's stunning botanic gardens. Highly recommended to delight your eyes and calm your senses in the midst of a very busy city.

Going to the botanical gardens was a complete waste of time. It was just a plain park with trees. We did not see any flowers or interesting plants besides an extremely small rose garden. There were a couple of flowers planted in very small areas...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
