Fancy getting away from it all for a few hours? Visit the gardens. You will not be disappointed. Walked through at every opportunity. If you are not a walker, then there is a land train to take you round.

These are very manicured gardens and nothing like the Australian countryside, but it is a very relaxing place to visit so close to such a noisy city. They gave a great view of the harbour and you don't have to be rich to enjoy it.

After spending a night in the CBD we spent an enjoyable and relaxing walk through the botanical gardens. The gardens are kept beautifully and have quite a number of walks which take you down to Lady Macquarie Chair, Sydney Opera House and the Art Museum.

We spent a couple of hours walking around the gardens. Such spectacular scenery and also being able to get great photo's of the bridge and Opera House was a highlight. We also saw a lot of cockatoo's. So cool.

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
