Fantastic Anzac Day spent laying on beach and swimming. Great cafes around, lots of lifeguards around including the boys on Bondi Rescue. Unfortunately Icebergs pool was closed maybe for maintenance ? Deck lounges and umbrellas available for hire on beach. Worth a visit !

We visited on a quiet afternoon. The beach is lovely but can get busy with surfers. It's a nice walk along the sand and had a promenade where you can sit and have a drink/food.

It is a small beach but close to city makes a good place for many people. Though it attracts large number of tourists, may be it should improve on drug control and vaping.

The beach is wide and despite a lot of people it never seemed too crowded. It’s such a fun and laid back beach community. Food is closes by and you can spend the day chilling.

I don't know when the calmest conditions are but my girls swam in mid June (which is their winter) and they didn't think it was cold.
