This is the most beautiful library I've ever been. In a grand and elegant building, rich research materials and spacious environment are available for visitors. Very worth visiting.

There were two photo exhibitions which we enjoyed. Otherwise the staff (in the cafe and in the library) were offhand and we didn't feel welcome.

This is a great library with some interesting exhibits. It's definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Sydney.

Sydney library not normally a place i would visit on holiday but what a lovely building and you could get free wi-fi we were very impressed the building is over 4 floors so you could get a good view of the main library area.

The Town Hall area by the Queen Victoria Building is totally under construction for a new mass transit, so no bus. You need to walk from Town Hall T-stop to Central Station stop.

The library on the ground floor is absolutely stunning, a huge space lined with 3 storeys of bookshelves accessed via a network of stairs and access ways. Upstairs are galleries which, when we were there, were showing a couple of very interesting photographic exhibitions.
