A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

I love the ocean, and this walk winds its way along cliffs overlooking the ocean. The walk passes along some of the well known Sydney suburbs and is worth doing for both its scenic and exercise value

An easy walk with spectacular views. Use public transport to and from. Take your bathers and camera.

I always have a weak spot for large bodies of water, there is something majestic about watching in this case the Pacific. (Which we did at a park just before the immediate Tamarama beach) so of course this was getting a good review. There should however be stricter rules on dog control in that park- some crazy owners were there... More

Everyone should do this walk if able. I am not a spring chicken and it took a while to complete but what a day.

This is a favourite spot for locals walking their dogs or catching up with friends & family. Also a popular spot for tourists enjoying views over the ocean & beaches. A walk that can get very crowded on weekend mornings. Unfortunately the bit between Bronte & Coogee has been closed since big storms in June undermined part of the walkway-... More

This is easy to get to - bus to Bondi beach, then you have a great walk for a couple of hours along a fabulous coast, you end up in Coogee Beach where you can eat and drink if you want and then an easy bus back to the city. All in all, a great day out.

My girlfriend and I drove to Bronte and walked to Bondi and back. This was a much easier option than finding and paying for parking in Bondi. The walk is very easy and only takes about 20 mins each way at normal pace, obviously with a stop off in Bondi for a look around. Bondi was average, the beach looks... More

This is a great walk, and takes about 1 hour return. It does have some challenging steps along the way, so you need to be reasonably fit. At certain times of the year, whales can be viewed on their migration.
