A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

If you want to get in touch with the true experience of Bondi, you need to take the walk to Bronte beach and then have fish and chips in the park. Highly recommend to anyone with a pulse.

Loved it! This is a great walk and very popular after work (100s of people) but not for the frail or the faint hearted. Many steps, steep areas and a slip/trip hazard thrown in every now and then. Fantastic views over the ocean and cliff...More

Glad to have finally done this walk. Beautiful. Followed by brunch at Icebergs. Iconic. Kids loved it too.

The whole coastal trail offers breathtaking views. The most memorable section is Waverly Cemetery. Here, activities slowed and quietened down; everybody walked on in silence. The serenity is in huge contrast to the buzz along other sections of the trail.

Incredible views and plenty of places along the way to swim, eat, refill a water bottle, etc. It is not ideal to bring a stroller because of several staircases along the path, but we managed.

I did the 0510 bus from City to Bondi beach and walked 8km along the coastal walk. You will pass a lot of beaches. This will be one of your best walks of your life.

This is one of the best things to do whilst visiting Sydney. Start in Coogee and finish at the iconic Bondi Beach, where you can grab Fish & Chips and sit in the park by Bondi Beach taking in the view. Keep an eye out...More

I'm not someone who's up for long walks so I have to say I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed this walk. It's a 6-km coastal walk and will take you about 90 mins or so to finish, depending on how many stops you make...More

Hmm, perhaps you can walk a portion. There are quite a few hills and one or two sets of stairs along the way which inevitably my tire a 4 year old. The walk is long too - very scenic and interesting for adults, but perhaps... More

I think there are better walks if you want your boys to scooter. Bondi to Coogee gets very busy at popular times, can get a little narrow, has stairs in quite a few places and is beside some roads for quite a distance at... More
