Having been given a Gift Voucher for this cruise we were very excited. It was a lovely afternoon and our guide Esther was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, great sense of humour and all round wonderful. It was a lovely day on the harbour and the lunch and free bar great. We didn't know Goat Island existed and it is... More

Was not sure what to expect when I booked this tour but it did sound interesting and ticked all the boxes for me. When I first saw the boat (the grand old lady) rocking away at the dock I was a bit apprehensive but after getting out into the harbor things became a lot smoother, thanks to the experienced crew.... What great day, started out slowly our transport arriving late (only a few minutes). The crew put on a free bar which was appreciated by all and no one over indulged. The food was good and filling with enough for everybody. The tour of Goat Island was both informative and entertaining, living in Sydney it's great to learn more of... More

Was given this cruise as a gift and was not sure what to expect. The afternoon was great. Perfect day for a cruise on the harbour. Captain and two female deck hands were very professional and friendly. The boat was not full, so it was easy to move around. The food and drink were very good. The stand out was... More

Thanks Esther for being an awesome tour guide! We really enjoyed learning some harbour history despite the fact that we live here. Yes the food wasn't gourmet but we didn't starve or get thirsty; the brownies were seriously good. Not a tall ship (they should tell you that when you book) but still a gorgeous sunny day on the harbour.

Did the goat island tour as part of the Sydney tall ship overnight package and it was fantastic. Esther has a wealth of knowledge about goat island and its history. It's amazing to know how close it is and how much history we travel past each day on the rivercat. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the tour. Our guide Esther was fantastic and her information and history delivered with good humour. The tour is fun and interesting, the boat cruise before and after the tour of Goat Island is lovely (around Fort Denison) and the Harbour. We had a windy day and we were super impressed with the Captain who skilfully moored the... More

We didn't get what we thought we'd booked! Going by the pictures in their promos we thought we would be sailing the harbour on board a tall ship, enjoying a buffet lunch and learning about convict history and VIP houses around the harbour. Instead we had a run down, in bad condition (maybe historic) ferry. It was so NOT what... More

We boarded a restored 1920s ferry ‘Wangi Queen Show Boat’ where we listened to commentaries as we cruised past Australian icon buildings: Admiralty House – the official Sydney residence of the Governor-General of Australia and adjacent to the Kirribilli House – residence of Australian Prime Ministers and Fort Denison – formal penal site and defensive facility while drinking unlimited champagne... We booked in early June with a gift certificate for $250.00 from Red Baloon (had to pay an extra $9.00 to meet the cost for a couple) however due to storm damage to the boat we were re-directed to book in late July. In the mean time our friends booked for the same cruise and paid $160.00 for two people... More
