Sydney Wilderness Tours specializes in Day Tours to the Blue Mountains with regular daily departures from Sydney. Private tours can also be arranged for all size groups (even more than 14).We use the latest 14 seat super-stretched Mercedes Benz Mini Coaches for these tours to enable the tour guests to have a better experience being with a small personal group of people. We can visit more attractions and locations as a small group is far more versatile. There are no long "getting on" and "getting off" time delays associated with larger coaches.

We did the Grand Circle Tour - small group with a great tour guide (and a guide in training). We were off of the cruise ship so the tour made our first stop at the Featherdale Wildlife Park - wonderful plan since we were in and out before the tour buses got there! We stopped at Windyridge Garden for viewing... More

What terrific value for money. The tour guide was amazing just so interesting and caring. Loved his job and it showed. We picked thus company at random from the U.K. so were thrilled at how good it was. I would recommend to anyone.

This was a small group Blue Mountains tour - and what a tour it turned out to be! We were picked up a short walk from our hotel at 7:15 in the morning. Because this was a small group with a brilliant tour guide, he adjusted stops to provide a day that wxceeded our expectations. We made an initial stop... More

I took their Hunter Valley wine tour. Good value for the money. I sure wasn't going to rent a car, get buzzed at the wineries, and drive myself around. The tour guide was well-informed and very capable of answering my wine questions.

This was a great tour. The small group size allowed for good exchange with our tour guide who was excellent. Max was incredibly knowledgeable, very professional and congenial. Max's leadership skills were obvious as well. Sites were spectacular and commentary very informative. Thank you for a great day.

Our trip to Sydney on March 03, 2013 was amazing! Sydney Wilderness Tours picked us in a mini van right in front of our hotel. We were greeted by a great Aussie named Keith who would be our guide for the day. The tour size was small with only 9 people which allowed us to really have what we considered... More

We loved our wine tour with Sydney Wilderness Day Tours, which I believe is part of Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tours. Our van driver was friendly, funny, and informative. We also stopped at the Smelly Cheese Shop and a chocolate shop, which were both a little rushed, but wonderful. A highlight was seeing some wild kangeroos along the way, our... More

I booked this tour via the winecountry website. I thought our guide for the day (Kim) was great. He was very friendly all through the trip and provided us with a little history of the area which i thought interesting as we travelled between each winery. We visited about 4-5 wineries; my favourite had to be the Ernest Hill winery.... More

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighborhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
