A nice fountain but nothing out of the ordinary. Hard to miss since it is located out in front of St. Mary’s cathedral. A popular meeting point for tour groups.

Situated in Hyde Park near to the Cathedral and Hyde Park Barracks. Really lovely area of the park. Really relaxing place to sit and relax. Fountain itself is stunning with so many different aspects to look at from all angles. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a very large ornate fountain just inside the northern entrance area to the park. The nearby plaque provides the history behind its construction. Good photo opportunity and also the meeting place for the free walking tour of the historical part of the city.

I walked several times in Hyde Park during my business trip to Sydney in April 2019 and passed the Archibald Fountain several times. It is a great photo opportunity in my opinion.

Not a fan of any mythology, Greek or Roman. But if you're heading to St. Mary's Cathedral from the Sydney Tower, you can't miss this photogenic fountain. This' probably the best spot for some photo op and even better choose either the cathedral or the...More
