We were around PItt Street Malls doing our city walk-about and also shopping when we came by this mall. Surprisingly, while most other departmental stores and shops around it were packed with last minute shoppers for Christmas, this mall was comparatively quiet and "much much less crowded". Westfield Sydney is a 6-storey shopping mall offering fashion, apparel and lifestyle shops... More

While the shopping was probably high end, the food court was a great place to visit prior to the Eye or Skywalk. They had a great spread of various food places of different ethnicity.

Irritatingly incorrect signage makes finding the men's a little confusing. The food court came in 2nd to David Jones. There are better places to shop in the area.

This is a high end mall. My partner and I stopped by here on our way to Bondi Beach. We used their wifi to see what was happening on social media back home (we were on vacation). If, however, you want to shop in more affordable stores, you'll have to go outside to the nearby open mall. We got here... More

Westfield did a great job years ago with the renovations of this shopping centre. It's now an iconic shopping precinct in Sydney. The food court has more expensive options than your typical food court but the quality is worth it. There's food for all the family there. Tip: it gets busy at lunchtime on the weekends, so get there early... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
