Very hot day so retreated to air conditioning to do some shopping in central CBD . Perfect for me I just wandered in and out and up and down , not sure if I saw every shop so came back next day! Live in Tassie so starved for store choices and variety. Bliss for me definitely a must visit next time I’m in Sydney.

Visited primarily for the Sydney Tower and then took the opportunity to browse the many shops and enjoy various snacks in the foodcourt. There is a great variety ranging from standard to mostly high end. I browsed the menswear but didn't spot anything that I couldn't purchase at Westfield Carousel in Perth. My wife though otherwise and headed there the following day for a morning of shopping while I enjoyed the attractions and history of Macquarie Street and surrounds, then met her in the foodcourt where we enjoyed another lunch. Great central location, great access including for people with disabilities and, most impressive, the service was better than what we experience in Carousel.

Blown away with how big this Westfield is. Visited on a rainy day & it was just marvellous. Had all my fav stores that are not available in all locations back home. The lay out is fantastic & the food court offered all different meals. Can’t wait to visit again in June.

Enjoyed the food court section of the mall due to its variety of food vendors. We actually ate her a few times with our hotel just around the corner. There are so many choices that one can’t go wrong. Never ate at a place more than once. Oh, there’s also shopping in the lower floors.

We were looking to eat lunch and found this new restaurant on 6th floor. The girl at the front desk was very bubbly and inviting. The food was fresh and the service was very quick. Overall, we had a great little lunch. Three of us ate and our total bill was $32 dollars only. This is a sit down restaurant. I will strongly recommend you to have a meal there.

When this place opened it was supposed to provide the people of Sydney and the tourists another place of varied quality shopping to suit all budgets. Instead it's a sterile, confusing mish-mash of escalators, pylons and over-priced stores that Sydney simply didn't need.

They tore down the old Imperial Arcade and Centrepoint malls to build this monstrosity, and it's a shame. The old arcade just needed a refit, not a complete tear down and rebuild.

There is no redeeming quality in this Westfield, (with the exception of the new gym), shops selling over-priced clothes nestled amongst shops selling over-priced food all due to the excessive rent they need to pay.

The place gets incredibly crowded right up until closing and once the place starts to close you feel like you're trapped in a maze as they just start blocking off exits without warning and you need to backtrack to find another way out. There's not enough signage as you walk around the place, and unless you're in the food court, there's not enough places to just sit down, unlike the previous arcades where there were tons of cushioned bench seats, especially in the overhead walkways, where it was nice to eat lunch in relative peace and quiet, but all that charm is just gone.

The venue is just a plain. modern, unfriendly environment, with black, grey or silver tiles and decor, which will end up looking dated very quickly. Even the lightning has gone from adding a soft glow to the area, to either being too bright in some areas or too dark in other areas.

This isn't a tourist destination and I'd only suggest it as a place to get in out of the rain. It's a pity the underground arcades don't extend under Pitt St Mall and into this Westfield. Bad planning or just a budget issue? Anyway if you feel the need to go and check it out and even eat there, at all costs avoid "Top Juice" up in the food court area, some of the worst service in all of Sydney.

Westfield Sydney is huge! We have been there a few times over the years and always enjoy walking around and browsing through the shops. It is actually relaxing to just go through and look. There is always something interesting to see and occasionally buy something too. The prices may not suit everybody's wallet but there is something for all, as we have discovered, in our case. It's in the middle of the city and close to trains, buses and other forms of transport. It's worth visiting.

I am a big Christian Louboutin buyer worldwide and the worst possible service I have ever received was from the staff at Louboutin in Sydney! Disgusting service. I received an email from a staff memevwr by the name of ‘Hannah Spencer’ on the 30th of May regarding my faulty shoes which ripped after being worn once and I responded back immediately... 5 emails later I still have no response from this staff member!! Have you ever seen such disgusting service!! Worst part is I’m currently in Europe where I’ve spent $7,000 in different Louboutin stores to be treated like absolute rubbish by the staff members!

Stay away from Christian Louboutin in Sydney! Worst possible service.

I went here in Oct 2019 and I just found it to be mainly high-end stores and with some lower-priced stores mixed in with some cafes and other food places. I went there for the sole purpose of getting some new clothes and 90% of the stores didn't have clothes larger than a 16. So if you're a curvy person I would avoid. I could only find clothes in City Chic, Myer and DJ's and even then they are $$$$

The layout was also confusing as stores were spread out over two buildings over the Pitt Street Mall and the maps didn't really help.

Westfield Sydney is very close to the train station which is basically just across the road. It is a beautiful place to shop and you are sure to find what you're looking for.
I have been to quite a few Westfields, and this one has 6 floors and must be the top choice for presentation and atmosphere. I got a feeling of it as ultra-modern and very urban outlook.
It is a very clean and well laid out shopping complex. Westfield has some great many shops to please everyone and an evening meal in the tower is a fantastic way to see the city lights. But shops are categorized at different price ranges to choose but there are more expensive shops than cheaper ones.
There are some wonderful old arcades to wander through not to buy things but to look at the historical arcade structure and flooring. The top brands are easily found there and the food court has so many options. All the staff were eager to assist. We had an enjoyable walk just wandering around the shopping centre and surroundings.
Once you're there you'll notice the food court is like no other (exquisite selection of food for a start and minimal bulk seating - it's all in unique areas. If you want a great selection of cheap but good food then go to the Myers Centre food hall which is on the lower ground floor. If you eat at the tables at the window past the fish place, and you will get a view of the Hyde Park. The the Coco cafe on level 2 serve the best muffins with really comfy seats.
We saw the kids loved walking around as there was lots to see. There are great play areas for the kids.
I feel that there is a lack of seating areas. Legs can be very sore after long hours of shopping, so putting for seats in the mall would helpful a lot. Another problem is that the toilets are found only in the first and fourth floor.
This Westfield is probably the best one I have been to. I love this mall a lot. I recommend to you to visit to buy the things you want or just to do window shopping, wonder around wonderful old arcades and have a meal from the restaurants there.
