About
We would love to show you this sparkling harbour city from the engaging perspective of a small group guided bicycle tour. BOOK NOW via website search. This is a fun, invigorating and memorable way to explore Sydney, away from vehicles with heaps of photo opportunities. "This was by far the best and most personal tour we did in Sydney, we loved having the freedom of a bicycle and a fun and educated tour guide. It was easy pedalling on excellent bikes, and we received cold spring water, a snack pack and best of all, a wonderful photo essay of our tour in our our inbox free of charge. We signed up for a family tour with teenagers at very short notice, and Graeme was able to react.

We're local to Sydney, but Graeme provided a fantastic knowledge of routes, and unbeatable commentary about local interest and history

We went through lovely quiet bushland you would never expect so close to the City.

We got some stunning view points you would never get to on foot.

Graeme has a great knowledge of the cafes for the coffee stops

Importantly we were always out of the busy traffic and spent lots of the time in quiet National Park land

A "Must do", and very reasonably priced.

I contacted Graeme the night before the tour I wanted to join, and although there were no other people booked for the tour he was very accommodating and agreed to give me a private tour!

I was very grateful for the use of the electric bike as I would not have managed some of the steep hills otherwise. We covered around 50km in 4 hours, and I saw more of Sydney than I imagined possible in one afternoon. Personal highlights included Wendy Whiteleys Secret Garden and of course cycling along the Sydney Harbour Bridge singing to Blondie!

Graeme is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, he also made me feel comfortable and safe cycling in a busy city.

I recommend this tour for visitors and locals as you're bound to find something new.

The sights, the cycling, Graeme's boombox and wonderful soundtrack, his insider knowledge and friendliness made for an unforgettable day- I can't wait to return to Sydney for another tour with Graeme.

My family and I took a bike tour led by the passionate and funny guide Graeme. We had a fantastic time riding electric bikes all around the Rocks, over Sydney Harbour Bridge, around Kirribilli, Luna Park, Darling Harbour then back and around many parts of the city. Although we live in Sydney, we felt like tourists in our own city. Exploring many places we had never seen before or simply didn’t know existed. It was great fun seeing so many famous landmarks of Sydney and having professional quality photos taken by Graeme (Photos were taken and sent to us free of charge which normally on tours, you have to pay extra for photos). During the ride he had music playing as we went along from all era’s and decades (earning a few looks from people or happy smiles).

He knew a good little secret cafe on the water, had a little kick around in the park with an AFL ball and took us to a really nice place for lunch. We tried the electric bikes for the first time and what a fun time we all had, my brother couldn’t get off it and would fly up and down the wharf at one point. It also made the hills extremely easy and didn’t have the sore legs the next day. Would strongly recommend people take this tour and explore the hidden sights of Sydney. We all enjoyed the tour and every little thing was a stand out to us all. Amazing value for the price of the tour. Thank you so much Graeme :)

We had a fantastic time riding electric bikes all around the Rocks, over Sydney Harbour Bridge, around Kirribilli, Luna Park, Lavender Bay then back and around many parts of the city. It was great fun seeing so many famous landmarks of Sydney and having photos taken by Graeme who was a really enthusiastic fun tour Guide, playing music as we went. He had plenty of knowledge to impart and took us to a lovely place for afternoon tea, and also gave us suggestions for good dinner venues. Graeme is very friendly and ensured we had a great time and saw as much as possible. Being on an electric bike made the hills extremely easy and it was the best way to see the sights close up. Although we live in Sydney this tour took us to a number of places we'd never seen before and provided fantastic views of the city highlights. The tour was really good value for money.

By bike you have the opportunity to ride from the city out to some of the most spectacular headlands of Sydney Harbour, which most tourists (and locals) will miss. You shouldn’t. It’s brilliant.

Many of these special vantage points have (and still are) in the hands of Defence to protect the city but are accessible (legally) by bicycle. We rode the tour on an E bike, which meant we could conquer the hilly terrain easily. This made for exhilarating riding and scenery, with little traffic to contend with
.
Stops at a secluded cafe for great coffee and if you are hungry at the end, prawns at Balmoral.

Add this to your Sydney experience, you won’t regret It.

Graeme offers some fantastic and most scenic bike riding tours around Sydney. We have done his Around the City tour some years ago and most recently his Sydney Headland Tour.

He took us to secluded panoramic Harbour view vantage points that we had never been before.

His great sense of humour, profound historical knowledge, care and fantastic e-bikes made our day an unforgettable experience. We stopped at beautiful look outs and also had some great coffee on the way. Graeme is great with kids and teenagers.

It was a fantastic family outing and I highly recommend it to anyone who visits Sydney, but also to local families who want to get to know Sydney from a different perspective. Great school holiday activity, especially after coming out of lockdown.

We had three couples in our group, four people rode bicycles and two people rode electric bikes. Graeme was our guide. He was a character! He played loud, upbeat music throughout the day. It was nice that he took some pictures of us and airdropped them to us at the end of the tour. We stopped twice, once for a smoothie and once for ice cream. I suggest that you ask him to stop for lunch because 5 hours of riding approximately 24 miles without a meal is too long. We saw a lot of areas that I couldn’t begin to name because I didn’t even know where we were. Graeme was spontaneous and took us wherever he decided to go. At one point, we crashed a wedding by riding through a grass area where the wedding just took place and the photographer was still taking pictures of the wedding party!
On the down side, Graeme had us pump up our own tires before we started our ride. I felt he should have done this since we hired him and expected him to have his bikes in good working condition for us. Also, he didn’t look back very often to check on whether the group was with him. At one point, one of our riders needed to stop and three others stopped with her. Graeme didn’t notice that he lost four people from his group. We waited for him to come back and get us, but he never did. One of the wives had to call her husband who had rode on with Graeme to get directions on where to find them.

Graeme gives a great tour, with all the local bits you might not find out about ordinarily. His knowledge of the city is deep, his playlist is super, and he has a great sense of humor! My husband, teenage son and his girlfriend all enjoyed his company at the various stops. Would highly recommend Graeme/Bike Buffs to anyone from first timers to seasoned visitors (I have visited Sydney nearly 10 times).

We had an amazing trip out for the day with Graeme. At first we had thought we wouldn’t need a guide but very quickly realised only a minute down the road that we definitely did. Graeme was extremely accomodating and helpful and super affordable.

We got some great photos at iconic locations and also got to see some specific places we were interested such as Hyde park.

We used the e-bikes and they were 10/10 fabulous made the bike ride super easy and I will honestly never go back to a normal push bike.

Do yourself a favour and get yourself on the phone to Graeme and book a tour.

A mate and I booked a tour with Graeme and had a wonderful time. Seemingly, around every corner is another iconic view of Sydney!
The booking process was a breeze and we met Graeme as planned where he provided top quality bikes, helmets and wet weather gear.
With stops on both sides of the harbour as well as time for coffee and a delicious lunch, the tour is nicely paced throughout. Along the way, Graeme kept us entertained with some lovely stories and clever photography.
If you are looking for day out where you can gain a snapshot of historical and contemporary Sydney and be thoroughly entertained along the way, then one of Graeme's tours is definitely a 'must do'!
Thanks Graeme, we had a great time.
