Out of so many tours I had, this is one of the best I ever had. I did not have much time spent in Sydney. I was glad that I signed up for the tour as it was a really great overview of Australia history, culture and sights! Yes, I do agree that there is lots of walking to be... More

Big Sam is a fantastic tour guide. He takes you not only to the biggest attractions, but also to other beautiful places where you would not go to if you are visiting the city for your first time. Sam knows a lot about the city and during the walk, he gives you lots of background information about the many different... More

Was really good! So much information given about Sydney you are taken to places that would be hard to find without help. Also tips on where you can save money for food and drink. Would recommend it to everyone!

Gregg, our guide, gave us not just an informative historical account of various places but also some pretty tongue in cheek humor to go along with it, as we wound through tiny alleys and along busy streets taking in the major sights in Sydney. Also money saving tips on other attractions/eats, etc. Best way to get a quick overview of... More

My friends and I did this our first morning in Sydney. Our tour guide was big Sam. He was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and really helped us get to know the city. A free tour can be really good!!! It's really a good way to have a look at some of Sydney's landmarks. The tour guides know how to walk you through some of the best bits of the city, and also provide very useful tips to get the most of the attractions, so that you can continue by yourself.

You should know this tour of Sydney is free, making it by default the best value for money. After having done this tour, give a tip, compare it to other tours I've done, I can still state, it's in my top 3 of best guided tours in the world. You get a good overview of the center of Sydney, with... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
