We arrived in Sydney on Friday morning and took our Peek tour of Sydney soon after we arrived. Gregg took us to places we would never had seen on our own and he told us history we would have never known. He was funny and informative. He answered all of our questions and even gave us some great suggestions for... More

The Sydney sights walking tour was worth the money. i went at the end of my stay (the only day i could go) & got even more information on places I'd been or seen, but didn't know it's purpose. the tour was entertaining and personalized as well. even though I went at the end, it... It was a pleasure having you guys along and showing you the best of Sydney. Hope you smashed the competition (maybe not the Aussies) when you got back up the coast. Regards, Gregg More

Greg our tour guide was excellent. He had very good knowledge of the pubs, beer & the Rocks in general. Best of all he had a great personality. Loved it and highly recommend it.

A bit of history, a bit of culture, local events in review, good photo ops and a great introduction to local brews and pubs. This was a great first evening for first time visitors to Sydney. It set the stage for a fabulous vacation that included several return visits to landmark establishments in The Rocks. Highly recommended.

Gregg is among the best tour guide we have ever had around the world's major cities in the US, Europe and Australia. He took us to see the old and the new Sydney. Its people, history, evolution and some Australian complex over British :) He even introduced us where to eat, shop, see and play. Informative, intelligent and interesting with... More

We don't do large group tours so when we found this small group tour on viator we decided to book. We think its a great idea to do an orientation type tour in a new place to get a better idea of the area and a small group or private tour is much better than a guidebook to give you... More

We were the only ones on our walking tour and it was a great way to spend a few hours. Despite having lived in Sydney we had never done any of the 'tourist' type activities. We all learnt bucket loads about our history and Gregg was a font of knowledge - he will even follow up with an email if... More

Gregg was awesome - entertaining and informative! Even though my husband and I were the only ones booked for the tour and a little rain was predicted, Gregg still pressed on. We think our tour was even better because it felt like a private excursion with a friend who was showing us his home town! Highly recommend doing the walking... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
